INKIOSTRO BIANCO – LISTONE GIORDANO – TABULA – HATRIA

Listone Giordano  

An absolute novelty that certainly will change the very concept of parquet. These are the premises of the project which is a collaboration between Listone Giordano (http://www.listonegiordano.com), worldwide benchmark in the field of high-quality wood flooring, and Inkiostro Bianco Lab, the creative workshop of the eponymous company famous for its handcrafted and custom wallpapers. The meeting of these two exceptional companies has resulted in "Undici", a model of experimentation in wood where the parquet, living material par excellence, is engraved with an innovative laser technique.

Indelible incisions, recesses that enter into the material and extract a new essence. Thus the wood becomes like a sculpture (or bas-relief), extended across the floor, which draws its strength from the manual artisanship and the attention to detail that are the hallmarks of this Umbrian firm.

The decor slips from the wall and comes to rest on the material with a process that reinvents furnishing by merging art and #design. The oak flooring is sized at 140x1200mm with a thickness of 10mm.

Inkiostro Bianco

Inkiostro Bianco is a brand, an ambitious project of ideas applied to the planning and production of decorative graphics for any surface. METAMORPHOSIS is the new contract collection that the company will be presenting at Milan #design week 2016.

Metamorphosis is the decor that embarks on a new evolutionary path and discovers a new dimension.

Contemporary graphics discreetly insinuate themselves onto material surfaces in a light tonal contrast. The lines flow, intertwining in a series of progressive changes that leave space for different levels of interpretation.

The essential graphic lines are the signs of a new expressive code to decipher. The forms flow with apparent simplicity and emerge in a succession of elements giving life to a new aesthetic language. The patterns interpenetrate in an unstable maze that requires a slow and careful reading.

The perspective and method of fulfillment are also changed: at a distance, the mind manages to decipher the evolution of the underlying theme. Moving closer, the eye captures something unexpected, elements in relief that are raised from the surface and introduce, for the first time, the third dimension in the wallpaper.

From every point of view what emerges is the potential for metamorphosis and its evolving visual impact, a tool for defining what is an elaborate and radical style, despite its discretion.

TABULA

The kitchen has always been the protagonist of our homes, a living space to experience in comfort and where you’re able to unleash your creativity. Tabula is the new artisanal kitchen that satisfies the needs of contemporary living with a variety of customization possibilities, a broad range of finishes and a harmonious juxtaposition between different materials. Tabula is the result of a meeting between the designer Enrico Pasa and the historical company Trento & Bizzotto, specializing in the construction of kitchens with high-quality materials and traditional methods. Together they decided to create an innovative product with a distinctively contemporary style, a designer kitchen created for ad hoc solutions, composed of systems with a strong identity that integrate and complement each other with flexibility in size, materials and aesthetics to give substance to #design lovers’ visions. #design, select raw materials, and artisanship combine in a continual encounter between knowledge, methods, and experiences. Tabula’s furnishing plans are the result of an idea: giving shape and substance to the beautiful, interacting with the space and its configurations, each time creating different sensations.

In the exhibition area dedicated to the kitchen, InSinkErator will be showcasing the Evolution 200, ahigh-powered food waste disposer, which combines technology and functionality in the name of sustainability. It's able to eliminate any kind of food waste contributing substantially to reducing material in landfills. The American company will also present the 3n1 kitchen tap that combines #design and efficiency, able to provide boiling hot water in seconds thus avoiding water waste. The tap’s elegant lines are enhanced by colored or chrome finishes as seen in the models on display.

Novy also enhances the kitchen furnishing offer with Up_Side, a fully-integrated downdraft cooker hood that’s able to work efficiently without affecting the aesthetics of the interior, available in stainless steel and able to work at two heights: work-top level (ideal for wok cooking, teppanyaki) and a raised level. Novy will also present the induction cook top Domino.Available in different sizes and models – Domino is a stand-alone cook top, there is no frame for the flush-mount or flat-edge versions – and equipped with Power and Superpower modes to increase the power of the inductor and ensure even better performance.

Innovative #design and entirely Made in Italy production characterize the offer from Hatria, where ceramics play the leading role in a multitude of solutions for the bathroom environment. 

The indisputable star of the exhibition is Next, a collection preview being presented at Nel Blu dipinto di Blu, accompanied by the Canalgrande line of washbasins.

Next, with its toilets and bidets, brings together all the innovation in the world of bathroom fixtures: the designer Mario Alessiani illustrates the new flush system using the form in a precise way. The surprising intersection of curves generates the maximum aesthetic and technological expression in these bathroom fixtures. The Canalgrande range of basins, designed by Nilo Gioacchini, interprets the trends of contemporary #design with square lines, rounded corners, slender borders and maximum functionality lent by the broad basin and its support.

The space will be completed by the Open sun screening system by Vitrum Mioni s.r.l, a company specializing in external coverings, with awnings and pergolas for residential, industrial and urban settings. The company's products are on consignment inside the exhibition space. Thanks to their technical abilities, Vitrum Mioni s.r.l. offers effective solutions for weather protection in outdoor environments, that combine a strong sense of #design, while retaining features revealing fine craftsmanship.
