Flou - Collection SOFTWING 2016
The 2016 Collection presented in this catalog is a delightful mixture of
products from the #flou and Natevo ranges. In the new collection for
the living and sleeping quarters, attention has been focused on new
materials, textures and finishes, a drive towards original shapes and an
almost obsessively precise and constant care for the finest details. True
to the #flou philosophy, every year the company adds a new chapter to
its tale of continuity, quality and beauty.

The designer was inspired by the soft, elegant curves of the wings of transoceanic airplanes when he created the “Softwing” collection, consisting of a bed, armchairs, pouf and lamps.
The bed fully reflects Flou’s traditional textile soul. It is simple yet sophisticated, with the artisan craft skills used in its manufacture clearly visible in the arrangement of the pleats, the accuracy of the stitching and the softness of the ensemble. The tailor made perfection is enhanced by the completely removable fabric or leather covers.
The backrest of the armchair is available in two heights. Its sinuous shape has enormous decorative impact. The curved external shell, produced in prestigious hardwood (walnut, ebony, larch) protects the soft comfortable interior upholstered in a choice of removable covers in fabric or leather. The same applies to the pouf; it can be used as a footrest as an extension of the armchair, or as a stand-alone seating unit.
The lamp is available as a standard or table version. It has a powerful identity thanks to the spherical shade in clear, smoked or bronzed glass, illuminated with LED bulbs, and its elegant structure in bronzed or graphite metal. The lamp lights up automatically when touched.
