Natuzzi at Salone Internazionale del Mobile 2017

Natuzzi Italia will showcase an exclusive selection dedicated to the living, dining and bedroom area at Salone Internazionale del Mobile di Milano 2017. The collection comprises over 20 new furniture pieces, including large sofas and armchairs, comfortable beds, tables, chairs and precious accessories that complete the offering of the brand. “Natuzzi combines #design, function, materials and colors to create harmony in spaces”. This statement encapsulates the guiding principle of every new project by #natuzzi, which comes to life with harmony taking center stage in the 2018 Collection. The main products of the new collection suggest the absolute harmony between rational geometries and compositional aesthetic sensibility and are designed by Mauro Lipparini (Melpot sofa), Maurizio Manzoni and Roberto Tapinassi of Studio Memo (Kendo system), and Jamie Durie (Hara bed, Amber bed and matching bedroom set) debuting in #natuzzi. Designed by Mauro Lipparini, the Melpot sofa represents the new highlight of #natuzzi Italia for #salonedelmobile 2017. Functionality, aesthetic balance, clean lines, soft and ultra modern look are the key characteristics of this style as well as of the whole line of sofas and chairs that meet the contemporary requirements of #design and function with a wide range of optional elements. The different configurations offered for this sofa allow for a high level of customization with the option of integrating a complementary selection of bookcases, coffee tables and boiserie. Conceived to achieve space optimization, functionality and versatility, this #design is a result of an experimental and rational process that sensitizes #natuzzi to these contemporary requirements. For the dining area, #natuzzi Italia introduces the Kendo system designed by Maurizio Manzoni and Roberto Tapinassi of Studio Memo. This project features essential lines and richness of details bestowing a highly dramatic impact upon any space. Kendo is a complete furniture system consisting of an impressive sofa, a coffee table, a writing desk and stands. An interior solution that fulfills the desire of total harmony through a sense of order and proportion, while creating a space that suggests relaxation and sharing. The linear structure encounters the sophisticated mix of materials. Accurately crafted solid wood enhances the unique metal detailing that outlines the surfaces, embellishing and distinguishing the project. The Hara bed and the Amber set are the protagonists of the bedroom area. Hara is a comfortable and functional bed that visually defines the highly design-based approach of the Australian designer Jamie Durie. A geometric and rational harmony of #design emerges in the upholstered headboard composed of two cushions that intersect with the tubular structure outlining its profile. The dialogue among materials is highlighted in the combination of wood and metal for the frames and leather and fabric for the upholsteries. The Hara bed boldly stands at the center of the bedroom complemented by the Amber set, comprising bedside tables, dresser, chest of drawers, open wardrobe, all characterized by an elegant multifaceted surface. At the 2017 edition of #salonedelmobile, #natuzzi Italia collections will be accompanied by the line #natuzzi Editions, featuring important additions, including the new selection of finishes offered in a contemporary color palette. Natuzzi’s new collection reaffirms the timeless and distinctive strengths of the brand: absolute comfort and exquisite quality of products combined with innovation which take shape with the new recliner mechanism that allows to completely transform the sofa seat and autonomously control headrest, backrest and footrest to achieve maximum comfort for a level of relaxation never experienced before.
