ZPSTUDIO - Preview Fuorisalone 2018
ZPSTUDIO will present its new #design collections in the "Aesthetic Visions" showroom on Milan’s Via Palermo 5, during the forthcoming #fuorisalone 2018; staging by Studio Milo.
On display: the new line of rugs SECONDOPIANO and the collection of storage containers ANFORE
SECONDOPIANO

SECONDOPIANO is a series of rugs produced in collaboration with the company #egecarpets - to exclusive designs by #zpstudio. The rugs will be produced in a limited edition.
The concept of this project developed from the idea of transferring just a hint of a third dimension to the two-dimensional item. It is as though the rug manages to open a connecting window to other environments or forms a stairway that leads to a 'second floor', hence the name 'secondopiano'.
The textured finish results from digital processing of photographs taken by the designers; the scenes depict portions of architecture with a stairway as the protagonist; the images were then post-produced by superimposing several layers (some of which reproducing tactile surfaces such as cement and brick) and then treated with colors from the Ege palette of elegant saturated tones - pinks, earthy shades and teal blues. The rugs measure 130 x 200 cm and are edged and finished with a slip-proof backing; they are produced by ink jets spraying onto a polyamide support (such as Highline 910).
