SOLLOS, “Good news from Brazil” - Fuorisalone 2018

At Palazzo Litta from the 17^th to the 22^nd of April 2018

The installation by #jaderalmeida brings to #milano the timeless elegance of the Brazilian brand

SOLLOS takes part in The Litta Variations collective exhibition, with an installation that reveals its inner soul while presenting the last novelties of the brand.

“Good news from Brazil” is a total immersion in #sollos world: iconic pieces, new release and award-winning products, catch the eye of the visitor, while unveiling from numberless different perspectives the timeless proposals of the Brazilian brand. The wise use of light emphasizes shapes, twist, lightness of the products and materials combination. Next to the main room, details came a part into fragments, becoming precious art works. The sober and elegant style of #sollos perfectly matches with the suggestive baroque rooms of Litta Palace, bringing at #fuorisalone the most authentic Brazilian touch.

Between the novelties, Bossa chair (designed by Jader Almeida) a seat that fully embodies the qualities and characteristics of the music that gives it its name. Born Brazilian in its materials and its forms, it stands up for the trapezoidal form of the backrest, the soft lines and the strong contrast between materials (wood and rattan) which give the chair, a contemporary and cosmopolitan appeal.

At its first launch in the European market, Bossa celebrated in the 2017 the 10^th anniversary of its creation. For the occasion, the company has launched a limited edition: just 300 pieces exclusively thought for collectors.

Jader Almeida is one of Brazil's most internationally respected and highly awarded designers. Born in 1981, he graduated in architecture, with award-winning pieces in the major national and international #design competitions. Since 2004 Jader develops exclusive products with his principal partner: the brand #sollos, based in Santa Catarina. In 2013, he joins the team of designers of the German brand ClassiCon. With his participation in exhibitions in several countries, he has gained increasing prominence internationally. Beside the #interiordesign, Jader, also works on architectural projects commercial and residential, developed in his office in Florianópolis, Santa Catarina.
