Tato continues its research into the archives of the architects/designers who made an important contribution to the success of Made in Italy and has acquired the rights for some iconic projects.

Luna Verticale, #design #gioponti, 1957

A floor-standing lamp with a brass structure and diffuser in heat-formed plastic. It was presented for the first time at the Milan Triennale in 1957.

Armchair Angolo, 1963, #design Corrado Corradi Dell'Acqua

As sophisticated as its inventor, the backrest of this compact seating unit has incorporated armrests. It is a modular unit and when joined to a ‘twin’ it can form a small sofa. When the two units are slightly separated, they form an intimate “Vis à Vis” conversation corner, inspired by 19th century designs. An infinite number of combinations can be created with the addition of one or more poufs that are simple or fitted with a small backrest.

Angolo has a carcass in wood and is covered in velvet or fabric/ hidesselected by the client, with a contrasting or tone-on-tone decorative trim.

Arenzano, #ignaziogardella, 1963

This #table lamp has a brass body topped by a frosted blown-glass diffuser. Available in two heights (cm 34/56) and two diameters (cm 22/27), there is a choice of finishes - polished brass, chrome and bronze and it is embellished with an original functional decorative handle. It takes its name from the city on Italy’s Ligurian Riviera where the designer spent many happy vacations and where he designed a number of architecture projects.

Montecarlo, #corradocorradidellacqua, 1959

A ‘serving’ #table with minimal #design and equipped with two or three glass shelves. The lightweight tubular structure, in polished or chrome-plated brass, supports the shelves framed in brass with an original system of angle components. It is square and available in two dimensions (40x40 and 50x50 cm) and two heights (44/66 cm).
