The space “Aesthetic Visions” will showcase the new rug collections SECONDOPIANO, the collection of vases ANFORE, and the couple of side tables TABOURET, all signed by #zpstudio.SECONDOPIANO is a series of rugs produced in collaboration with the company Ege carpetsonexclusive designs by #zpstudio. The rugs will be produced in a limited edition. The concept of thisproject developed from the idea of transferring just a hint of a third dimension to the two-dimensional item. It is as though the rug manages to open a connecting window toother environments or forma stairway leadingto a 'second floor', hence the name 'secondopiano'.The textured finish is obtained through thedigital processing of photographs taken by the designers; the scenes depict portions of architecture where staircases play a leading role. The images were then post-produced by overlappingseveral layers (some of which reproducetactile surfaces such as cement and brick) and then treated with colors from the Ege palette withelegant saturated tones -pinks, earthy shades and teal blues. The rugs measure 130 x 200 cm and are edged and finished with a slip-proof backing; they are produced by ink jets spraying onto a polyamide support (such as Highline 910).
