Arper at the Salone del Mobile 2018


#arper will participate in the Salone del Mobile in Milan, and present its collections in the exhibition space dedicated to furniture and #design companies (Hall 16 – stand C29 D30). An area of nearly 900 square metres will allow visitors to discover new designs, previews, and a selection of Arper’s iconic products through an immersive experience that fully expresses our brand’s identity. The narration resumes from “Together”, a key word that places relationships at the center of the #design system and summarizes Arper’s six values: Balance, Intuition, Family, Color, Lightness, and Play, which will take form in each room through a dialogue between collections and setting.

Arper has constantly been open to suggestions and new ideas, mindful of how much #design in every form affects our daily life. This has inspired #arper to carry out a new project for this year’s Salone del Mobile: a series of interviews to distinguished members of the cultural sector and the creative industries, who have been invited to share their personal take on the #arper values (Balance, Intuition, Family, Colour, Lightness, Play). Their interpretations, based on their fields of expertise, have then contributed to identify a common ground amongst multiple perspectives. Among the personalities who took part in the project are Karole Vail, Director of the Peggy Guggenheim Collection, Venice; Deyan Sudjic, Director of The #design Museum, London; Umberto Basso, Managing Director, AKQA Italy; and Dominik Tarabanski, photographer.

A selection of extracts from the interviews will be available at the stand, guiding visitors in their exploration of the Arper’s world. The project will continue throughout the Salone engaging visitors who will be asked to express their point of view on the values they feel closer to. In the following months the project will be featured on our web site and social media channels, with dedicated content and digital productions.
