2021 Hospitality Vision: mood internazionale e flair italiano

Minotti presents its 2021 hospitality vision through a very sophisticated virtual architectural project called “The Villas”, devised to
enhance the eclectic character and versatility of the 2021 Collection’s new projects. A rigorous architecture for a setting that features spacious interiors, lighted by the large windows that ensure a visual continuity between inside and outside. A style that recalls a Mid-Century contemporary mood with Brutalist accents in the choice of materials – concrete and glass –, in the aesthetics of the large circular openings and aerial structures, in a harmonious contrast with the charm and softness of the 2021 Collection, here interpreted in a hospitality and residential version.

The Villas project by #minotti Studio is in an ideal setting, in a unique Italian piece of paradise and one of the world’s most beloved destinations: the lakes in the Prealps, where nature has a special charme and the gently rolling hills, blanketed in Mediterranean vegetation, are reflected in mysterious blue-green waters. Spread out over twelve villas, in three types with different surfaces and characteristics, its focal point is Villas Privé, a clubhouse with exclusive communal spaces designed to host encounters, events and meetings.

The clubhouse is the perfect setting for Roger, a truly versatile seating system designed by #rodolfodordoni with #minotti, arranged in different configurations that include a back-to-back version and set the mood in the lobby. In this light-filled reception area, Roger dialogues with the other projects of the 2021 Collection: the Brasilia seats by Marcio Kogan / studio mk27 and the Belt armchairs by #rodolfodordoni, alternated with coffee tables in different sizes while interpreted in clean-cut lines and volumes.

The meeting room suggests an alternative use for the big dining table Superquadra by Marcio Kogan / studio mk27, which suggests a different intended use, linked with the launch of the Studio Collection, a series of furnishings specifically designed for elegant work environments such as boardrooms, meeting rooms, management offices and top-level lobbies. Around the table and once again signed by the Brazilian architect, the Daiki Studio armchairs confirm the identity of a style rooted in the Fifties, but reworked with characteristics that balance past and contemporary style.

The overhanging terraces and open-air spaces overlooking the breath-taking vistas of the surroundings are furnished with a mosaic of elements from the versatile Patio seating system by the Italian-Danish design-duo GamFratesi, in an unexpected fusion of different materials.
The linear geometrics of Patio dialogue with the welcoming lines of the Lido Cord Outdoor seating family, again by GamFratesi,
conceived as a cosy nest, and the Toni Nest Outdoor armchairs by the Japanese studio Nendo, with their characteristic rope weave backs, a #design inspired by woven cane.

The three types of villas on show - Oak House, Plane Tree House and Magnolia House - are projected into nature with their
contemporary architecture and open-air spaces for chilling, in a careful play of lines and materials, where glass and faux formwork concrete panels team with black slate, as well as black and honey-coloured oak in a refined contrast of hues and textures.
The fluid interiors of the Oak House, the largest villa with a big swimming pool, provide a showcase for all the 2021 Collection
furnishing elements in its liviing, night and outdoor areas. The Roger seating system by #rodolfodordoni is the absolute protagonist,
arranged in different configurations in the various rooms. The Marvin table by #rodolfodordoni stands out in the dining area,
strikingly dramatic with its sculptural base and versatility. Whereas the protagonists in the Plane Tree House are the designs by Marcio Kogan / studio mk27, which give character to the living, dining and night areas, as well as the home office, with elements from the Brasilia and Superquadra families, all in palisander Santos stained Dark Brown, a leitmotiv that sets them apart while creating a very distinctive Mid-Century mood with contemporary style. Finally, the Magnolia House features an original back-to-back configuration of the Roger seating system by #rodolfodordoni in the living area and the hugely comfortable Roger Bed in the night area, in a carefully devised palette of neutral and natural shades.

The Villas architectural project, with the elegant Villas Privé and its Houses, perfectly embodies the eclectic character of the 2021 Collection, which was conceived for various destinations of use, from residential to hospitality, from workplaces with the Studio Collection to open-air spaces, highlighting the versatility of a collection for both indoor and outdoor use.
