James Residence Interior Design Works Turri furniture in a villa in Johor Bahru

Some of Turri's most iconic collections have been chosen to furnish a prestigious residence in the heart of Johor Bahru, a lively metropolitan area of Malaysia directly connected to one of the most important financial centers in the world, Singapore. To take care of the villa renovation project, the Malaysian office Team BJ #design & Contracts Sdn Bhd, specialized for over twenty years in consulting activities in the field of #interiordesign especially in Southeast Asia.

In a total area of 1000 sqm, there are private rooms, dedicated to family ties and more personal habits, and more formal places, designed for official occasions and for the reception of guests. The architects and designers of BJ #design Team, careful to meet the needs of clients fascinated by Western trends, have selected some of the best Italian furniture companies to furnish the luxurious rooms of this villa with a particular architecture. If the external structure seems to respond to contemporary style standards, a more modern taste was chosen for the interior furnishings, capable of warming and 'softening' the rooms.

For the dining area, dedicated to more formal occasions of conviviality, the designers chose Turri's Eclipse collection. The table, the chairs, the vitrines and the sideboard are a symbol of timeless elegance; refined, customized furniture, in which the alternation between different volumes and materials catches the eye and reveals the care that the Brianza-based company dedicates to every detail.

Equally formal is the office, featuring Vogue desk and Madison sideboard. Meticulous embroideries embellish the leather that surrounds the glossy lacquered wood of the table, while a skillful chromatic combination has allowed a sideboard with sinuous lines to be placed next to the desk, thus strengthening the stylistic balance between the two articles.

Team BJ #design has also chosen to mix elements from different collections in the master bedroom. The bed, the bench and the side table Noir, the chest of drawers, the bedside tables and the mirror Eclipse, and finally Jolly armchairs, share soft, enveloping, circular shapes with each other. The choice of customized fabrics and colours, in shades of beige and blue, conveys an all-Italian craftsmanship and creates harmony and balance in one of the most intimate rooms of the house.
