Casalgrande Padana has expanded its Extragres 2.0 range of outdoor tiles with new collections, incorporating the latest design trends. In particular, the new Metropolis and Timeless concrete-effect collections feature a delicate cloud-like effect, enhancing their aesthetic value. The new English Wood and Project Wood oak and beech wood-inspired collections redefine the idea of wood-effect tiles through a perfect combination of colour and design. Nature’s masterpieces created by sedimentary rocks around the world have inspired the new Era, Pietra di Tiburtina, Stile, and Supreme stone-effect collections. Finally, the random combination of stones, pebbles, and marble fragments of different sizes gives life to the Le Ville and Terrazzotech terrazzo tile collections.
These porcelain stoneware tiles feature irregular veining, cloud-like effects, delicate transparencies, refined details, soft shades, and a play of light and shadow, making them perfect for unique landscape design solutions.
Casalgrande Padana outdoor tiles are versatile, sturdy, and functional, combining the charm of the material that inspired them and the outstanding technical features of porcelain stoneware. They are perfect for any residential or public outdoor space (terraces, porticoes, verandas, patios, courtyards, poolsides, and walkways on turf, sand, and gravel). In addition, they adapt to any classic or contemporary design style, including minimalist, Zen, country, shabby chic, vintage, and Provençal.
The natural finish for interiors blends with the anti-slip finish for exteriors, creating harmonious, uninterrupted surfaces that blur the lines between indoor and outdoor spaces while making them look bigger. In addition, they are perfect for creating matching solutions and visual continuity.
Casalgrande Padana porcelain stoneware outdoor tiles are perfectly squared and rectified and feature a 20 mm thickness and an anti-slip finish. They can be laid on a screed using adhesive, ensuring high load resistance. Alternatively, they can be dry-laid on sand, gravel, or turf. In this case, they can be walked on immediately without needing screed, mortar, or adhesive.
Moreover, these tiles’ 20 mm thickness allows for creating raised floors using fixed and height-adjustable polypropylene pedestals. Fixed pedestals can be 14, 25, or 35 mm tall. They are ideal in all situations requiring a removable floor that is easy to inspect.
Conversely, adjustable pedestals come in various heights, ranging from 35 to 100 mm, and are perfect for uneven substrates.
Outdoor raised floors also allow you to hide the electrical and plumbing systems.
Casalgrande Padana porcelain stoneware tiles withstand loads, temperature fluctuations, weather agents, chemicals, and seawater. They also have extraordinary abrasion resistance and flexural strength, making them ideal for indoor and outdoor floors and walls. Finally, these tiles are made solely with natural raw materials, making them fully recyclable and environmentally sustainable. They are also fire-resistant, non-allergenic, have antibacterial properties (thanks to the Bios Antibacterial technology, available upon request)and are easy to lay and clean. Plus, they withstand the test of time.
