PR iF Design Awards honor the design achievements of chairs A+S Work and Esitt and bench Lin designed by Alegre Design
The iF Design Awards recognized the "design achievements" of three collections designed by the Alegre Design studio: the A+S Work professional chair manufactured by Actiu and Esitt and Lin, the professional chair and bench developed in collaboration with the Inclass brand.
The jury recognized the creativity and efficiency of the three products by virtue of their level of excellence in five criteria: idea, form, function, differentiation and social and environmental impact.

A+S Work has created a new technological mechanism for Actiu's office chairs that focuses on hybrid spaces. It stands out for its hat stands out for its simplicity of use, the optimization of resources and the way it supports the users in their everyday life.
The project's goal was to create a new technological concept for Actiu, after the success of the TNK platform in 2006, a high-performance chair that already prioritized user comfort.
Lin manufactured by Inclass, is a bench that blends mechanical stability with minimal visual impact. Its modular design allows for dynamic configurations, offering flexibility and agility. Easy-to-maintain geometries prioritize cleanliness and ergonomic comfort. Its adaptability meets the demand for versatile seating solutions in modern public spaces.
Lin's sleek form, achieved through an aluminum structure, captivates with modern elegance. Meticulous craftsmanship ensures durability.
"This bench has made a significant impact by transforming spaces, enhancing user experiences, and promoting sustainability, with its use of recyclable materials. Its adaptable nature and ergonomic design have optimized seating utilization and fostered social inclusivity", comments the designer.
The first point of contact is the seat, which has been built as a thin sheet of voluptuous shapes that perfectly accommodates any sitting position. The entire chair flows out of the synchronization system into the backrest, favoring the lumbar and dorsal support of the users in their day to day work.
It also meets the highest ergonomic demands in the work environment, with the purpose of taking care of people's health and make their day easier and more comfortable. Also, the entire design and manufacturing process responds to a strict circular economy principle. Each component can be reused, replaced and recycled. The chair can be completely disassembled and repaired, element by element, which extends the product's life cycle.
Esitt's office chair has become a breakthrough in professional seating, offering unrivaled ergonomic functionality with a touch of Inclass' elegant aesthetic. Innovation marries comfort, customization, and sustainability, delivering an optimal working experience. Its unique backrest upholstery system and single-gesture lumbar adjustment redefine seating convenience.
