Studionotte presents the after dinner installation, an irreverent and sensual experience during milano design week. showcasing the new marte collection.
StudioNotte, a design studio founded in 2019 by Luisa Alpeggiani and Camila Campos, presents, at Labò Cultural Project during Milano Design Week, a sensory experience that challenges conventions and invites guests to explore new perspectives through design.
The exhibition, open from April 15th to April 18th, 2024 - with a press preview on Sunday, April 14th - will be an extraordinary opportunity to immerse oneself in the distinctive aesthetic of the studio. The After Dinner installation takes viewers into an enveloping atmosphere.
At the center, a table set with dark velvet, evocative of mysterious and sensual atmospheres, depicts a dinner just minutes after its end; a dinner where lust has become one with the pleasures of the palate. In the scene, traces of what has been and what the viewer can only imagine are evident: in the candlelight, surrounded by table accessories reminiscent of the worlds of chemistry and alchemy, the protagonists of the intimate dinner have flirted with the forbidden, suggested by metallic details of chains and rings.
Marte, the new collection designed by StudioNotte, consists of a floor candelabra and a liquor cabinet. Its maximum potential is expressed during the night, when the sun sets and the day is left behind: by lighting the candles, the furniture creates an intimate atmosphere in contrast with their essential forms and the rigidity of steel. The details, with seductive references, serve as a bridge between function and form, creating a unique and captivating experience for guests.
The exhibition is completed with the studio's distinctive products, which reveal themselves as the embodiment of bold design, complementing the suggestions of a particular after-dinner.
The SiO2 tableware embodies the satisfaction derived from food, with transparencies and shapes reminiscent of a laboratory setting. Salt and pepper shakers, cruet, vases, gravy boat, and candle holder, handmade in borosilicate glass, are the five parts of the set that generate different combinations according to one’s desires. Sugar Dose is a dessert spoon that takes guests into the world of ecstasy and voluptuousness, celebrating the pleasure of excess.
The objects designed by StudioNotte, exhibited in the After Dinner installation, with their distinctive aesthetics and sophisticated functionality, suggest charm and exclusivity to the creative experience.
