SLIDE - HOMI 2014

Thanks to its recent acquisition from ACERBIS Italia S.p.A., in absolute preview, SLIDE will propose the DESIGN OF LOVE Collection, a new range of products inspired by the baroque world reinterpreted in a modern style through a strong sense of irony and colour.

Born from the creativity of designer Graziano Moro and Renato Pigatti, the new collection is a container of ideas and emotions that are originated by the simplicity of one single material: 100% recyclable and Made in Italy polyethylene. All products convey a strong sense of irony that through their high impact colours and its playful shapes, they are authentic attention and curiosity magnets. The DESIGN OF LOVE Collection is a complete range of furniture, that thanks to their cross-cutting character, they are adaptable to any interpretation and atmosphere, giving a breath of fresh air to private homes, important ‘design’ hotels, showroom, clubs, restaurants and International venues linked to fashion, art and design.

In the area dedicated to the DESIGN OF LOVE Collection, the following will be presented: the seats Queen of Love and Little queen of Love, especially appreciated for their classic and elegant shapes; as well as the complementary table Duke of Love and the pouf Little prince of Love. Ideal to furnish indoor spaces, with a classic/modern style the table Hoplà is accompanied by the chair Princess of Love, this is an example of the possible integration of the new range with products from the SLIDE collection. Joker of Love is presented as a modular article part of the library behind the luminous bar counter Break Bar at the reception: Joker of Love is a versatile product, that can be composed with different colours and dimensions, perfect as a library, display or partition for an open-plan office. The Frame of Love, a frame that can be used as a mirror or to frame an artistic masterpiece, with majestic dimensions, of 153cm by 120cm, undoubtedly it is a product complementary to the macrodesign vision that characterised the SLIDE collection during the last edition of Salone del Mobile. After the successful installation of the “Design Garden” exhibited in the new pedestrian area near the Castello Sforzesco in Milan, the composition Il Vaso 140 with the flower sculpture MyFlower design by Flavio Lucchini will be present again at HOMI.

Additionally, on the stand the luminous furniture Glacè, design by Alessandro Mendini, a versatile and modular product with the functionality of a comfortable seat, or if positioned vertically can be an original luminous divider. The table lights Jumpie, Love, Bubo, Globo, Honey, Pure and Kokò are other iconic and design products exhibited at the fair, ideal for furnishing indoor spaces.
