The Senator Group launches new products at Salone del Mobile 2015

The Senator Group, one of the largest furniture manufacturers in Europe, will be showcasing its diverse collection of designs as it returns to the prestigious Salone del Mobile in Milan.   The Senator Group, renowned as an innovative creator of collaborative, ergonomically designed workplace solutions, has once again demonstrated its understanding towards the evolving workplace. Its product selection not only supports traditional working environments, but accommodates mobile working, corporate and hospitality sectors, and developments in educational settings.   Senator will be presenting new additions from its Ad-lib family designed by PearsonLloyd, with Ad-lib tables and Ad-Lib Work Lounge. Work Lounge is a multi-purpose chair and has been developed particularly to facilitate collaborative working. This generous fully upholstered chair, complete with optional upholstered head rest, is available on glides or castors to suit a multitude of environments. An adjustable fold down work surface makes it ideal for integrated solutions that support work, entertainment and relaxation in airport lounges and other transport spaces.   Providing a new formula in desking, Chemistry by Senator can be configured as individual desks or as bench solutions that share components, allowing for the integration of partitions that form touch down workstations or meeting spaces, with Chemistry storage and Chemistry Workwall completing the range.   Developed under The Senator Group’s Allermuir brand is Destination by Jonathan Prestwich, the innovative seating solution will be taking center stage as a mobile working solution, designed to bring innovation, maximize comfort and increase productivity perfectly suited for transport environments.    In addition to its latest offerings, Allermuir will also showcase Cirque tables, which are designed to create a new aesthetic for traditional lounge and dining designs within hospitality environments, to create a superbly elegant table solution. Complementing Cirque tables is the Quincy dining chair, with its elegant pared down construction, a seamless shell and solid hardwood legs. Proving that good design can be sustainable, Quincy is made from fully recyclable materials enabling a sound environmental specification.   The elegant and curvaceous JoJo is an iconic stool providing arguably one of the most comfortable stool seat shapes available. The popular Tonina delivers a contemporary design that has a multitude of possible applications across a variety of marketplaces. This one piece, gas injection-moulded polypropylene chair utilises the biomimetic method of moulding to deliver a flawless product with fantastic strength. Delivered in six contemporary colours, Tonina is manufactured using UV stabilisers to make it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.   From the Allermuir soft seating range, the generously proportioned Ottens rocking chair is a statement piece. Constructed using a traditional frame that incorporates a webbed seat support, Ottens has a gentle rocking base and super soft upholstery for ultimate comfort. A small, fully upholstered ottoman complements the Ottens chair. Mimosa is a fantastically comfortable lounge chair with a design that invites the user to find a multitude of positions. Inspired by retro mid century design, the quilted seat contrasts the formality of the structural column base. The inclusion of a table further enhances this range’s capabilities.    Robert Mustoe, managing director of The Senator Group, said:    “When it comes to design, we consider comfort, the type of task being undertaken and the requirement to enhance collaboration. We also place importance on understanding the world around us with the changing workplace, the influence of technology and the need to represent an organisation’s strategic goals. This ethos has been central to the production of our products and the development of our brands.   “By exhibiting pieces such as Chemistry, Ottens and Destination at Salone del Mobile, we are able to bring inventive new design approaches for workplaces, higher education, hotels, corporate spaces and transportation hubs to one of the most highly regarded design shows in the world. We are looking forward to showcasing some of our most exciting and innovative products, demonstrating how we take traditional notions of designing for comfort and relaxation and apply them to the rapidly-evolving work, study, rest and travel environments.”   Visitors are invited to view the new portfolio between the 14th and 19th April, in Hall 24 Stand D02 D06 at the Fiera Milano fairgrounds.   For accompanying images of The Senator Group products and a full brochure, please visit The Senator Group Pinterest page, or contact our PR agents below.   ENDS   Press contact: Elizabeth Bedford, MC2  +44 (0)161 236 1352  elizabethb@thisismc2.com   Note: for more information and image requests please contact The Senator Group press office via the details above.
