Scavolini and Diesel come together once more with their new Diesel Open Workshop kitchen and bathroom project

Comunicato Stampa disponibile solo in lingua originale.

After the enormous success of the #diesel Social Kitchen, presented at Eurocucina 2012, #scavolini and #diesel introduce Diesel Open Workshop: the new collection that spans both kitchen and bathroom, continuing the development of a style in which #design meets informality, with impeccable balance.

In this project, a warm approach to the domestic environment is clear, with a strong industrial vibe. The spaces are interpreted as a place of intimacy, personality and, at the same time, sociability. At the centre, remarkable attention to style, right down to the detailing, the materials and the textures, to create simple geometry but with attractive designs, beloved by an audience that seeks "apparent" simplicity of form.

From an architectural point of view, the character of the #diesel Open Workshop is clear in the modular metallic structures made of tubular iron, a clear industrial twist, which, thanks to the clever mix of blocks and voids, allows the construction of compositions with an unmistakable metropolitan soul, accentuated by the use of matt shades that combine to create comfortable and casual environments.

Metal fits into this model, marking the profiles of the handle grips, the top frames, the supports and the glass door frame. The latter, in aluminium, is key, continuing the play on volumes which characterises the collection. Three versions are available - smoked glass with black mesh, transparent glass with white mesh and flutes glass - while the Matt Lacquer option is available in three different colours - Dove Grey, Slate Black and the new Moss Green.

The Diesel Open Workshop features the introduction of a new handle grip on the top of the door, aluminium edging stretching along the entire length, both horizontally (for base units) and vertically (for tall units). Another distinctive feature is the top with mirror-polished edging, mounted within an aluminium profile in three finishes with metal corners on the four points.

The bathroom

For the first time, the collaboration between #scavolini and #diesel also extends to the bathroom, with a charming and original proposal.

The Industrial style is represented here by significant use of metal, which is also found in the new modular "shelving"system - which allows the insertion of shelves, open-fronted compartments, wall and base units of different sizes, either floor-standing or wall-mounted.

New built-in and sit-on washbasins with exclusive #design are available in different finishes and materials: rectangular built-in washbasins in Hi-Macs in two sizes and finishes, round sit-on washbasins in Nero Marquina marble and white Mineral-marble.

The project showcases new custom-designed taps and iron supports with covers for base units, low tall units, consoles and bathtubs. A combination of furnishings and solutions which, diverse in composition, come together to create perfect stylistic balance.

Another distinctive feature is the open-fronted bath structure with metal legs and cover and matt lacquered shelf.

As for the kitchen, new handle grips have been developed, mounted on the top of the door.

New mirror models complete the bathroom range, key customisation elements which highlight the uniqueness of the collection.

The Diesel Open Workshop kitchen and bathroom collection is available in three different configurations that combine materials and nuances - for doors, floors, profiles and glass - and represent the three souls of the project, better to showcase the various facets of this model with a strong character.
