It is a chair for public spaces and contract sales, bearing the signature of Actiu's founder

The new chair is made from polypropylene and fibreglass, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.

Bee is the new offering from furniture manufacturer #actiu for the corporate, contract, and hospitality sectors. A robust and delicate chair that looks towards the future of new spaces through the vision of #actiu founder, #vicentberbegal, the designer of this piece.

The elegance and sinuosity of its shapes make Bee a differentiated and attractive product for any architectural context. It is a resilient piece of engineering, made from 100% polypropylene and fibreglass, boasting a stable and versatile #design, which has received a Special Mention at the #germandesignawards, in the category of Excellent Product #design - Furniture.

Bee is a piece that is inspired by nature, mainly by bees, not only for its morphology, but for its ability to create spaces for its habitat. It incorporates innovation, material science and sustainable processes into an iconic silhouette. "This is a very personal project for me" says #actiu founder, #vicentberbegal.

Soledat Berbegal, Director and Head of Brand Reputation, states that: “Bee fills the space thanks to a voluminous and impressive aesthetic, which is combined with great comfort. Its unique personality leaves a visual impact on the spaces that it inhabits. This authenticity reflects the person who created it, #vicentberbegal, someone who has spent his whole life co-creating with designers and architects, and who is now making his mark with this new chair. It is with special pride that we launch Bee to the market with the help of our founder”.

Bee, available in various colours, is the result of a refined work process that includes innovation, technology, material science and process sustainability. The chair can be stacked up to five units high.

Bee is made from 70% polypropylene and 30% fibreglass, giving it a particular robustness. #actiu has already successfully tested this combination of materials in some of its other collections such as Wing and Fluit.

The Bee materials also feature an anti-UV treatment, limiting the effect of ultraviolet radiation, and making this chair an appropriate solution for semi-covered outdoor spaces, which have gained particular importance in recent years both in contract spaces as well as in work spaces, whether they are meeting points, transit areas or even cafes.
