2023 Genesis GV60 wins wards 10 Best Interiors and UX Award

• For the second consecutive year, a #genesis model has been named a Wards 10 Best Interiors and UX winner.

 Today, the #genesisgv60 was named a 2023 Wards 10 Best Interiors and UX winner. This award is based on a variety of metrics scored by the team at Wards. Since its introduction as Genesis’ first EV, #gv60 has quickly established itself as a segment leader with unique industry-first features like Face Connect and the Crystal Sphere. This marks the second consecutive year that #genesis receives this honor from Wards following GV70’s win for the 2022 model year.

The Wards team determines the winners by evaluating all vehicles with new or heavily redesigned interiors and user experience (UX) technologies. A variety of metrics are scored based on #design, aesthetics, comfort, materials, fit-and-finish, connectivity, infotainment, displays, controls, advanced driver assist systems, and value.

The rotating-orb Crystal Sphere gear selector, which changes colors via ambient lighting system shade selections, is truly out of this world,” said Wards editor and 10 Best Interiors & UX judge Christie Schweinsberg.

Its spacious and comfortable interior is not only aesthetic, but also features available eco-friendly and recycled materials, as well as innovative technologies to create a unique driving experience. One of the most compelling innovative technologies is the Crystal Sphere. Not only is it an aesthetic element of the interior #design, but it also creates an emotional connection between the driver and the vehicle. When the vehicle is turned off, the Crystal Sphere becomes the vehicle’s mood lights, adding to the aesthetic of the driving experience. When the vehicle is ready to drive, the sphere rotates and the gear selector appears, creating an indoor atmosphere of futuristic mobility.
