Electrified GV70 named Hispanic Motor Press Luxury Vehicle of 2023

This marks the third consecutive win for Genesis, following GV70 in 2022 and GV80 in 2021 as Luxury Vehicle of the Year

Today, the Genesis Electrified GV70 was named as Luxury Vehicle of the Year in the 2023 Hispanic Motor Press Awards. The 14th annual awards program recognizes the best vehicles for Hispanic consumers based on styling, technology, safety, environmental impact, driver satisfaction, mechanical reliability, and value.

“We are pleased to have the Electrified GV70 recognized as the Hispanic Motor Press 2023 Luxury Vehicle of Year,” said Claudia Marquez, chief operating officer of Genesis Motor North America. “Genesis aims to deliver products that reach a diverse group of consumers across our region and around the world through bold designs, dynamic performance, and the highest standards of safety.”

Launched in early 2023, the Electrified GV70 represents the third Genesis electric model to enter the Genesis lineup. The Electrified GV70 offers exceptional design and advanced technologies with standard equipment including all-wheel drive, a 14.5-inch HD multimedia display, and a comprehensive suite of driver assistance and safety features, including Highway Driving Assist. Electrified GV70 is the first Genesis model to be assembled outside of Korea in Montgomery, Alabama.
