Gaggenau celebrates “333 years in the making” at EuroCucina 2016 with its innovative booth concept and the reveal of a future icon

Milton Keynes, April 2016: #gaggenau chose #eurocucina2016 to commemorate its 333rd anniversary; unveiling an extraordinary booth concept inspired by its maxim “333 years in the making”. Gaggenau’s appearance at the leading international kitchen trade fair marked a new era for the brand, inspiring visitors by bringing almost four centuries of heritage, evolution and innovation to life.

EuroCucina 2016 saw 300 members of international press embark on a journey as #gaggenau immersed visitors into the brand’s remarkable history. The heritage wall illustrated the key milestones throughout the brand’s evolution whilst the presence of a live forge and blacksmith represented Gaggenau’s past as an ironworks. Guests were then transported through to the modern day and impressive product displays, representing the brand’s ongoing commitment to #design and innovation, culminating in the unveiling of Gaggenau’s future icon – the EB 333. A remodeled version of the brand’s renowned 90 cm-wide oven, renamed in tribute to the landmark anniversary, it offers modernised #design and functionality while staying true to its origins.

Sven Schnee, Head of Global Brand #gaggenau, comments, “We are excited to begin our celebration of such an important anniversary at EuroCucina. No other manufacturer of home appliances has such long-lasting tradition and heritage and we took this opportunity to showcase our history, experience and innovative spirit which has been 333 years in the making.”

Gaggenau continued to lead the way at #eurocucina2016, pushing the boundaries of conventional booth #design with a concept, developed with the Munich-based architecture firm eins:33, that brought 333 years to life, celebrating the brand’s past, present and future.
