FIREPLACE by CAR-MET: Magical atmospheres for autumn

Car-Met was founded in 1995, building on Gennaro Tramonti's 40-year experience in iron-working. After completing their studies, his children decided to apply their planning know-how to the business, designing products which stand out for their sophisticated designs. Over the years, #carmet has grown from a metalworking company to a creative workshop, keeping its site in the beautiful Arezzo valleys while working on a global scale: an example of Made in Italy able to create beautiful, functional furnishings designed down to the smallest detail.

The introduction of advanced machinery and a research and development department has allowed #carmet to expand its activities, introducing new product lines and an innovative approach to the market. Our progressive collaboration with emerging designers, selected through workshops organised in collaboration with Youtool, has led to the creation of bio-fireplaces, a product range all about the world of "fire" that speaks in a contemporary language.

FIREPLACE:
The #fireplace collection is distinguished by the use of very high quality materials and the highest care during every stage of #design and construction. Our meticulous attention to detail includes finishing and decorating by hand. #fireplace brings warmth and beauty to your home with a collection that draws on memories of the past, with a contemporary reinterpretation of the home's focal point. These bio-fireplaces are environmentally friendly, relying on bio-ethanol, a natural fuel. All are easily transportable and do not need a flue. Apart from being a practical alternative to the traditional #fireplace, these are the ideal solution for those who like to bring #design into their lives in an original way.
Each line has been created in collaboration with and signed by young designers, creating unique, highly innovative products. 

WOODY is an ironic and playful range, comprising a log holder, coffee table, and bio-fireplace. The three pieces, inspired by toy trains and made from a single piece, are easy to move, both indoors and outdoor. Lightweight, versatile and irreverent, designed by Lucio Curcio. 

CONCA is a bio-fireplace with an emotional #design. It recalls the history of men and women who, for millennia, gathered around the fire to work, relax and share experiences. The flow of time around this circle strengthens bonds and creates an atmosphere of relaxation and well-being. Designed by Giacomo Bonarelli, Conca inspires calm and is ideal for a contemplative lifestyle. 

With its pure lines and simple elegance, designed by Leonardo Fortino, CEPPO integrates seamlessly into any environment and can be used with the coffee table or next to the sofa. Its sophisticated simplicity also makes it suitable for spa, restaurants and hotels.
