The Aesthetics of the Everyday 25 years of Robert Bronwasser at Dutch Design Week

With his personal signature and idiosyncratic approach, creative ambition, passion and understanding of production processes, #robertbronwasser has developed a constant flow of successful products for countless clients over the last 25 years. In all this time he has remained true to his #design philosophy: he wants to #design products that, albeit with an ironic twist, are smart, modest, iconic, logical and nice to use. During the #dutchdesignweek this industrial designer will be creating a presentation on over 100 square metres, giving an overview of his multifaceted oeuvre – the Dutch designer celebrates the aesthetics of the everyday.

With his functional and accessible products for daily use, featuring a characteristic aesthetic and an ironic twist, #robertbronwasser is an outstanding representative of Dutch #design. However, within this tradition he has developed a totally individual direction, vision and signature. And so one might actually call him the rebel of Dutch #design. After all, Bronwasser is not interested in making museum-suitable applied art and he doesn’t produce any experiments or futuristic concepts. He is and remains an industrial designer who makes products with a specific group in mind: the end users. For this clientele, Bronwasser aims to create user-friendly objects for daily use that have their own beauty: products where function and form go hand in hand.
