Triennale di Milano is hosting New Perspective

Triennale di #milano is hosting New Perspective, an #event devoted to the Italian Association against leukaemia, lymphomas and myelomas, with the patronage of the Italian Haematology Association SIE and of the Lombardy Haematological Network REL, and supported by Takeda Italia, to inform and raise awareness about the fight against tumours of the blood, with a special focus on multiple myelomas. Curated by Denis Curti, the exhibition features installations, photographs and videos by 23 artists, whose works will accompany visitors as they look at what is often a very challenging reality from un unaccustomed angle. All the proceeds from ticket and catalogue sales will be made over to support AIL’s projects focusing on patients suffering from multiple myelomas.

“A group of artists with a unique inner seismograph has succeeded in showing us some unaccustomed vantage points for viewing the world,” states curator Denis Curti, “taking us by the hand as we penetrate into a harmonious development with the potential to measure a human quantity for which the concept of specific weight is alien”.

Under the hand of the curator as he applies a visual and emotional register, this collective presents Italian artists from a generation born in the second half of the last century who are all showing together now for the first time.

The artists are Carola Bonfili, Letizia Cariello, Carlo Cossignani, Theo Drebbel, Manuel Felisi, Martino Genchi, Fabio Giampietro, Eva Marisaldi, Liliana Moro, Luca Pancrazzi, Lorenzo Vitturi, Silvia Camporesi, Lorenzo Cicconi Massi, Paola De Pietri, Maurizio Galimberti, Fabio Paleari, Marco Palmieri, Agnese Purgatorio, Paolo Ventura, Olivo Barbieri, Paola Di Bello, Francesco Jodice, Masbedo.
