Forma&Cemento debut at Salone Del Mobile with a collection of furniture, objects and textures in cement. color, volume and material are its protagonists.
Forma&Cemento debut their first collection at Salone Del Mobile (Hall 12 - Stand F24), dedicated to the home, to furnishings, and to textures. Cement, research and fluidity of volume are the basis of their approach to the 2018 edition of Milan #design Week, curated by creative director Valerio Ciampicacigli.
In 2015, Giorgio La Corte and Carlo Rodriquez, founders of Forma&Cemento, decided to give new life to cement, a material that, in the shared imagination, is part of a world of constructions, transcending space through artisanal craftsmanship and reshaping the concept of the material. Cement is simultaneously a structure, a container, as well as the container’s content, deeming it a complex material.
Forma&Cemento‘s new collection showcases the essential, primitive forms of objects that become functional structures: the lines take on the same structure as the objects, with new tones and shades that enhance the volume within the space.
