MASON EDITIONS at FuturDome. Between assonances and colour contrasts

The new #design brand, MASON Editions, born from the experience of Lucepura srl – a company from the Veneto region specialized in the lighting sector – presents its first collection in the spaces of the #futurdome.

From the encounter between businessman Fabio Mason and two independent designers, Serena Confalonieri and Matteo Fiorini, then entrusted with the artistic direction of #masoneditions, comes the idea of launching a new brand of furnishing elements, with proposals designed for a refined and demanding audience which is sensitive to the theme of sustainability.

I worked alongside some of the most relevant masters of the Venetian area for many years” – explains #fabiomason, founder of MASON Editions – “a combination of experience, artisanal and production knowledge able to adopt the system approach.Launching a #design brand that combines these abilities with more aware and sustainable aesthetic research and #design seemed like a natural step to me.”

Composed of lamps, objects and furnishing accessories, the first #masoneditions collection is distinguished by the innate versatility of its elements, the emphasis given to materials and craftsmanship, and its 100% Italian style. #martinabartoli, #serenaconfalonieri and #matteofiorini have created ten eclectic proposals, which focus on the contrast of materials and on a fresh #design with simple and essential forms.

Pure and rigorous lines, like those of the HEIS floor lamp by #matteofiorini, simple and refined shapes like the MIA vase collection by #serenaconfalonieri, tactile and decorative proposals like the vertical TWILL mirror by #martinabartoli

The staging conceived for the #futurdome is based on the breakdown of the existing rooms into tactile and colour schemes, which alternate with each other and interweave with the products in a dynamic rhythm, made up of colour similarities and contrasts, and last but not least, material contrasts.

The open and fluid path winds through the three interconnected rooms, where ample textile curves, one per area, soften the clean and rigorous lines of a set-up that alternates different materials – from perforated sheet metal to fabric, from electro-welded metal mesh to coloured lacquering – in a harmonic play.

The #masoneditions collections will be available at the online store, in the dedicated section of the website.
