Quadro at the Salone Internazionale del Bagno and at the Fuori Salone expresses its brand values introducing three new taps collections designed by Luca Papini and supporting as main sponsor the ONE TWO FIVE – STEVEN HOLL exhibition at the Galleria Jannon

Always discovering and promoting the #design talents for the Salone Internazionale del #bagno, Quadro #design presents three new tap collections designed by the award-winning designer #lucapapini. HB, Modo and Stereo: three new collections in stainless steel AISI316L that redefine the connection between minimalism and decor, creating a unique series of objects, merging style with ergonomics. The company and the designer have worked together to redefine the rules, challenging themselves to create and innovate in the complex world of the bathroom. A non-univocal connection with the designer: the company has a peculiar approach to shape their products to satisfy the designers’ needs. A relationship that connects the dots this year at the Fuori Salone: Quadro is in fact partner of the exhibition ONE TWO FIVE – STEVEN HOLL at the galleria Jannone, from April 18th to June 3rd.

Salone Internazionale del #bagno: its news.

The new collection by #lucapapini is declined into three configurations. Stereo, Modo and HB: original and versatile objects. The simple lines of the spout converse with the mechanical slots of the handles, creating a unique aesthetical entity. The series is available in stainless steel AISI316L. Three declinations, two heights and two diameters for transverse handles that clothes the simplest and most minimal tap collection.

HB traces back the memory of a pencil stroke on a sheet of paper, where every project is born. The pencil is the extension of the hand, like the tap is for water. Both are the bearers of something somehow ancestral, something that defines the human being and his connection with the world. The sophisticated outlines of the series renew this connection and take it back to the most precious and elegant room in the house.

Material: brushed stainless steel AISI316L.

Modo, with its deep moon-shaped slots, is studied and offered for a more ergonomic and precise flow regulation. Available in two different heights and diameters, Modo is a dialogue between essentiality and technology. Stainless steel dresses up with unique and sensual light and shadows reflexes. The simplest taps collection at its base make the series universal, ideal for any interior context.

Stereo, inspired by the classic handles of the Hi-Fi stereos that have delivered our music before Spotify. Stereo was born from an essential technical detail, a little chamfer that enriches the form. A neat and firm gesture. The perfection of the mechanical processing makes the collection recognizable within the vast tap #design offer. A new object for an old shape.

With this new collections, transverse and plastic, the range becomes wider, and the possible combination multiplies in between series. Dimensions, heights, and finishings are the three parameters that give free access to a neverending variety of possibilities to interior designers and architects. Quadro, thanks to this intuition, places itself as a reference within the bathroom world.

Fuori Salone: ONE TWO FIVE – STEVEN HOLL.

Not only innovation and cure. In 2018, Quadro Design expresses the strong connection that links the company to architects supporting for the Fuori Salone the exhibition of the great American architect Steven Holl, at the galleria Jannone. ONE TWO FIVE – STEVEN HOLL, includes watercolours and drawings that represent its projects, always loaded by its unique poetry, expressions of an atypical approach. Among these projects, the Porta Vittoria Park and Botanical Gardens, Milano (1986) is a particular testimony of the strong connection between Steven Holl and Italy. A relationship that began in 1970 and has remained untouched. An occasion to give value to the #fuorisalone, a unique cultural even that has found, since its first steps, Quadro #design as one of the main supporters.

For the occasion, in the garden of the gallery, a site specific installation will be presented, directed by the creativity by Steven Tesic and Milena Veljkovic (di_archon_ass architetti). The collections chosen to be part of this exhibition will be Levo from Studio Adolini and HB, Modo and Stereo by #lucapapini. Una _ Quinta _ (A side scene) in Botticino marble skilfully crafted, hanged and movable thanks to hinges capable to generate fluid rotations and free from gravity, will be the centre stage. Furthermore, the sittings in marble will be arranged in a micro-landscape of multiple objects and will receive the taps and handles, becoming integral part of the landscape. A concept available to be lived as an interval during the intense Milan #design Week.
