Clerkenwell Design Week London & Alias are coming!

Alias, historic Italian #design company, takes the stage in London at the #clerkenwelldesignweek, from 22 to 24 May 2018.

Alias returns to play a leading role at major #design Events by taking part in the #clerkenwelldesignweek, in a Design Fields pavilion, next to the lively Exmouth market.

Triggering a dialogue between #design culture and business, historic and avant-garde #design concepts, the London fair confirms yet again its role as an #Event showcasing the best in the #design sector, and assigns #alias a prominent space where to recounts the value and beauty of high quality Made-in-Italy creations.

On stand DF12, #alias presents a selection of products, carefully arranged within an essential installation designed to highlight the peculiar characteristics of each piece.

Alias narrates the evolution of #interiordesign by displaying the kobi chair by Patrick Norguet, bigframe and rollingframe 52, the recipient of the prestigious RED DOT AWARD, by Alberto Meda, taormina by Alfredo Haeberli, and laleggera by Riccardo Blumer. The anthology is further enriched by the slim chair and the eleven highback sofa designed by PearsonLloyd.

Neither could this display refrain from making some allusion to the contemporary spirit embodied in the latest projects presented: iko byPatrick Norguet, okome sofà by Nendo, and layout, the system of container furniture designed byMichele De Lucchi. Yet again, these designers have artfully interpreted the cornerstones on which #alias has built its story and prestige. Different materials are combined and a variety of manufacturing techniques are used to express a fresh, innovative vision and an extremely hands-on approach.

Out of scale, the collection of micro architecture objects for the table, born of the drawings by #mariotrimarchi, is displayed on the aline bookcase designed by Dante Bonuccelli.

Thanks to its #design approach focusing on visual lightness and technology, and its capacity to develop a project to obtain a product that pushes the limits of visual lightness and the technological characteristics of the materials employed, #alias is able to propose furniture solutions specially designed for the office and the home, with the interaction with #people and their comfort as the primary consideration.
