Tonalite at Cersaie 2018

Tonalite Floor20

Floor20 is a #tonalite project developed in 10x20 rectangular size in ten colours; the surface is slightly wavy and has a matt finish. The introduction of eight textures allows maximum flexibility in the study of the project: the combination of finishes, colors and laying patterns allow the designer infinite solutions in the realization of floor and wall layings.

Tonalite Paintboard

The idea that led to the development of the Paintboard collection was to propose a range of extremely
intense and shiny colours on a surface marked by irregular horizontal lines, almost obtaining the effect of
lacquered antique wooden planks. Colour and light play with the reliefs of the surface, giving movement
and depth. The product and the variety of laying patterns give the creations a fresh and contemporary
look.

Tonalite Kraklè Tissue

Kraklè Tissue develops the theme of craquelure on a structured surface. The colour melts and fills the
gorges created by the texture by varying the intensity and the saturation of the colour, giving the glassy
surface a three-dimensional effect almost as if it were a hologram. The embossed drawings reproduce the
textures and warps of the fabrics and the random combination of the different faces combined with the
light, creates a play of depth.

Tonalite Lingotti

Lingotti collection of #tonalite has an elongated rectangular shape that lends itself to the development of
wall or fishbone themes. The clean, essential lines and the flat, opaque surface give the tile a
contemporary and minimalist look. The colour range in addition to the classic white, grey and ivory offers
contemporary shades such as Denim, Azzurro, Oltremare and Verdino.

Tonalite Scandi

Scandi collection is inspired by the Nordic style made of a sober elegance that celebrates a minimalist
taste, dampening the apparent rigor thanks to soft and enveloping tones. The tile is rectangular with
sharp edges and smooth surface, matt finish and intense and saturated color.
Although in Nordic style white is the predominant colour, spots of colour are frequently used on the wall
to light up and characterize the environment, creating the Hygge atmosphere that makes the home
comfortable and welcoming.

Tonalite Aquarel

Aquarel collection by #tonalite reinterprets in a modern way some stylistic elements of the past and
reinvents in size 15x15 the decorated tiles born at the end of 800. Aquarel is a square tile with regular and
well-defined edges, with perfectly planar surface and matt finish, suitable both for floor and walls
decoration. Careful studies of the colour allowed to have a chromatic effect similar to the one obtained
with watercolours: the colour is spread to more or less dense shades on the surface giving it depth and a
touch of craftsmanship. This way, even plain tiles appear to have movement, strength and tone conferred
by the colour itself without the help of a superficial structure. We developed fifteen decorative subjects in
which the pictorial depth is functional to give the drawing the representation of the volumes through the
use of shadows and light; the use of these motifs in a patchwork composition describes contemporary
surfaces in whatever way they are used, both private commercial. Should the creation of more classical
compositions be necessary, the use of individual designs allows to realize a "carpet" compositions.

Tonalite Crayon

Crayon collection by #tonalite is developed in twelve pastel colours with glossy finish and one color with
matt finish. The size is rectangular 7.5x30 and has jagged edges; this element, combined with the slightly
wavy surface, gives the product a peculiar character, almost as if it were handmade.
The colour range is inspired by the pastel colors in the cases of children, and, starting from white, going
through blue, pink, grey and sage then back to white matt.

Tonalite Trapez

Tonalite is a company that knows how to dare, who likes to get out of traditional routes and
follow new paths.
Some of its collections seem just made to awaken the desire for originality and imagination that
seemed off due to too many years of minimalism.
Style variations by #tonalite touch colours, decors, finishes and sizes.
Precisely in this latest trend belongs the new Trapez collection where the geometric shape gives
rhythm to the composition.
This is a collection designed for walls or floors, based on a modularity of 23x10 with trapezoidal
elements that create brilliant visual effects.
In order to complete the compositional possibilities, Trapez tiles are available in a range
of eleven colors, with both glossy and matt finish, allowing to combine both in the same laying
pattern.
The trapezoidal #design of the tile also allows, in single-color layings, to generate a network of
lines that describe the two-dimensional space of the surface; the use of the grout spacing, even
colored, becomes, just like the tile and the laying pattern, a characterizing element of the
project.

Tonalite Oblique

With Oblique, #tonalite wanted to explore the field of three-dimensional surfaces and geometric effects.
Oblique is presented in a 15x15 square size with an oblique pyramidal surface; this configuration lends
itself to laying patterns in which the geometry can vary both due to the position of the tiles in the scheme
and to the rotation that they assume in respect to the one another. Light creates plays of light and
different shadows in relation to how the oblique surface is arranged.
The colour range is very articulated and to the classic white, grey and black we added more modern
nuances such as dark green and aquamarine.

Tonalite Dart

Dart collection by #tonalite is presented with a glossy and matt finish in a 7x28 diamond shape.
The slightly wavy surface gives the product a natural movement of colour that generates plays of light
and reflections; the two finishes, glossy and opaque, make it possible to create laying combinations with a
high level of scenic effect.
This collection, with its shape and its colours, allows to characterize any environment, from the kitchen to
the living room.
The range of glossy colours goes from White to Lava going through the different shades of grey of Ash,
Steel and Greige and ends with Bone, Sky and Sage while the matt presents the green of Mint, the blue of
Celestial, the white of Snow and the black of Ink.
