Maison&Objet preview: the italian brand presents the new seat Stecca l designed by the french Alban Le Henryvilla, the innovative contract seat signed by Jun Yasumoto

On the occasion of Maison&Objet in Paris from 18th to 22nd January, Colos, an Italian increasing company and producer of contract furniture and promoter of the Made in Italy into the international landscape, will present as an international preview the new STECCA L designed by the French designer Alban le Henry, that complete the already rich range.

The Stecca collection is a project of a whole family of seating accommodations with catchy flowing shapes reminiscent of bentwood chairs. With Stecca L Colos deals with a first experience in the field of lounge. Realized like the other pieces of the family in robust aluminum, is aimed mainly, but not only, to the outdoor environments. Thanks to its elongated and comfortable shape, the seat invites you to relax and proves welcoming and pleasant in its simplicity.

In addition to the international preview, the stand designed by the architect and art director of Colos, Tiziano Baracchino, will present the last and already in production version of the seat VILLA. Designed by Jun Yasumoto is an entirely metal chair featuring a steel rod frame and a mesh shell. Yasumoto has succeeded in the goal of combining classic lines and contemporary aesthetics. Inspired by the outdoor seating in natural cane typical of Parisian terraces, Villa reinterprets the assembly method of the structural components with the aim of composing single parts to achieve an effective structural rigidity. Thin metal rod is worked in pairs to compose the structure; the result highlights the design of each single part of the chair while retaining a refined sense of lightness, further emphasized by the use of the wire mesh in those sections that come into contact with the body. Through a subtle play of curves and connections, the shell is slightly raised laterally from the legs, thus making the chair easy to move and manage. VILLA is available both a chair and an armchair version, available in five colors, and suitable for every furnished setting, especially for outdoor use.

To complete the offer also the other news of this year, the expansion of the Split collection. In addition to the established solutions the new additions include: a new base in tubular metal, a bar stool available in two different heights, and the SPLIT KIDS, a seat realized for the children by the designer Francesco Meda that enter into the collection to satisfy a growing market segment.
