The Fontanot Group takes on a leading role in Playful Living, the original creative laboratory between lifestyle and design
Finding a truly original #Event during the #fuorisalone isn’t easy, but The Playful Living project, in which the Fontanot Group has taken a leading role, is undoubtedly one of them.
Following the press preview on April 8, it will be possible to visit this house, specially designed for contemporary families, in via Tortona. This 150-square-meter apartment, divided into two levels, offers a simple, enjoyable environment in which to live and grow. What makes this possible are the objects, materials, lighting and furnishing solutions that transform the gestures of everyday living into an ‘interlocking’ game shared between adults and children.In this playful and original context the Fontanot Group fits right in, using its latest collection, F_Design, for the first time.
Available exclusively from the company’s online shop, it.fontanotshop.com/f-design/, the F_Design line includes functional, practical furniture and accessories manufactured in a contemporary style with natural wood such as birch, solid beech and solid oak.
Among the pieces that are worthy of special attention is certainly the multipurpose table created by emerging Croatian designer Laura Mrkša, who is bringing her eclectic Workbench Collection to Milan. A collection that becomes a part of everyday life in an incisive way, offering a functional “work space” that can be used in a thousand ways. Thanks to its simple clarity, this table is easily changed around in a way that redefines the concept of furniture itself by acquiring a new spirit depending on how it is used. From the kitchen to the office to the children’s room or the living area—the possible combinations are infinite. The Workbench, which is paired with the bench and the stool, becomes a way to customize any room.
It all based on the modularity united with versatility in Playful Living.
It’s also the perfect segue to talk about the other product that the Fontanot Group is presenting at #fuorisalone. The Altaquota console, designed by Lorenzo Damiani, is part of the eponymous collection composed of original pieces of furniture in which the key element is steps. The “steps” innovatively connect to the console, becoming a functional part of the furniture so that it can be used in more than one way, something that can really make a difference in a modern setting. Fresh and cheerful, it conveys a philosophy that sees #design as a transformation, a game, but also functional.
To discover all of this and much more, just take a stroll through the rooms of The Playful Living: dynamic and welcoming spaces that, like an ample mood board, inspires the creation of welcoming ad hoc solutions for living, working, and feeling good together.
There will be a full calendar of Events for industry professionals and others, with round tables for adults and creative workshops for children accompanied by artists and designers.
