Kinetura brings architecture and light to life

ABOUT KINETURA
Kinetura is a Belgian #design lighting company with a unique approach. #kinetura brings a functional metamorphosis of light and shape. This subtle transformation creates an organic and dynamic experience of space. Light and architecture literally come to life.
Kinetura not only brings architectural and integrated lighting fixtures. They also have decorative lighting within the same metamorphic concept.

ARCHITECTURAL LIGHTING BY KINETURA
The technical lighting of #kinetura melts into the architecture and can therefore be called truly architectural lighting. When closed, you only see discrete orientational incision lines of light in the wall or ceiling. When more and functional light is requested, the surface bends inwards in a slow, subtle and silent manner to reveal the light.
The recessed architectural luminaires are seamlessly integrated into the wall or ceiling and can be finished in the finish and texture of the architecture.

DECORATIVE LIGHTING BY KINETURA
Kinetura's decorative lighting responds to human presence and transforms from geometric, abstract and almost absent shapes into organic, open forms. You can best compare it with a flower blossoming in nature, depending on the time of day.
The decorative 'plug and play' lamps such as the table lamp New York and the Minato can also be used as light objects in a residential atmosphere or in hotels, restaurants...
Kinetura also has pendant transformative lamps, such as the Moscow and the Shanghai, which bring an organic play of light and shadow into the space. Their responsive character makes them interact with the people in a space.

CONTROL OF LIGHT AND MOVEMENT
The control of the light and the movement can be done in a universal manner by means of any home automation system (0-10V) or via the dedicated Kinemodule from #kinetura. In this way you can create your own interactive scenarios of light and transformation.
Kinetura’s lamps can also have an integrated Bluetooth module which allows you to control the light and movement via your smartphone. This new feature will be showed at Euroluce.

NEW AT EUROLUCE
The new release of Kinetura’s architectural lighting fixtures, such as Tokyo, Kanto, Santiago, …have their première at Euroluce 2019. They have been improved for easier seamless integration into the architecture and for easier accessibility from the front.

Also in première #kinetura will show its new light fixture, named PORTO.
It can be seamlessly integrated in a wall or a ceiling and covered with any material, such as wood, natural stone, acoustic panels,… When the light is off, the surface of the lamp is flush with the wall. Depending on the needs of the moment, you can automatically tilt the surface to obtain a down-light at one moment and an up-light the next moment. Porto is an extremely versatile architectural fixture with a high output, both as down-light and as up-light, and this all with just one light source…

Kinetura will also show its new architectural light feature BABYLON. This large mesmerizing star incision brings light above your table or creates a breathing wall.

KINETURA’S METAMORPHIC CONCEPT
This highly architectural approach of #kinetura can be explained by the founders’ architectural background. As architects they are convinced that, thanks to the new composite materials, actuating systems and controls, the fourth dimension of flexible transformation is finding its way into the architectural and lighting world. .

For this unique approach, #kinetura is praised from all over the world, not only through international #design awards such as IF award and Red Dot Award, but also through the acquisition of several #kinetura lamps in the permanent collection of the Museum of Centre Pompidou in Paris and through participations in important #design and art exhibitions such as Venice #design, during the Biennale of Venice.
