SICIS dresses the lounge bar of Paradis Latin with art

Press release available only in original language.

Cabaret, cancan and champagne, the ideal program for a Parisian night to do at least once in your life. And where do it if not at the Paradis Latin? The glorious theatre with a legendary history that never ceases to make you dream.

The historic Paris cabaret and one of the most famous, opened in 1803, was commissioned by Napoleon Bonaparte and was later rebuilt by Gustave Eiffel.

On the occasion of its 130 anniversary, it wants to amaze once again: the shows have been renewed as well as the interiors of the building. In particular, the refurbishment of the Bar des Anges has been assigned to #sicis. The entire project was designed in all its details by the Italian company.

The most spectacular part is the wall behind the counter, where the famous painting by Klimt, Giuditta I, was elaborated by the artists of the Maison #sicis in artistic mosaic, in shades of gold and red. Klimt used the tones of gold for this work precisely because it was inspired by the Byzantine mosaics, after a visit to Ravenna, city of the artistic mosaic par #excellence, where #sicis is located.

This setting creates a charming atmosphere and certainly brings us back to the era of the 'Belle Époque', where gentlemen in tuxedos and ladies adorned with laces sat in front of the counter. The counter itself is covered in the front part with mosaic, while the side panels are in Vetrite, in the same colours and shades of the artistic mosaic behind.

The armchairs have been upholstered using champagne-coloured velvets, matching the round and oval tables with gold and champagne tops in Vetrite.

The Ballet chandelier, an iconic piece of the Maison, illuminates the environment through a diffused but at the same time warm and enveloping light.

So all that remains is to sit and enjoy the enchanting show of lights, colours and sounds.

Bonne soirée Mesdames et Messieurs!
