Colorificio Marmoplast at CERSAIE 2019 with Ceramica Flaminia s.p.a.
Flaminia, a leading company in the field of #design bathroom furniture, has been engaged in chromatic research since its foundation and reveals its meticulous study undertaken in the field of colorings by calling Colorificio Marmoplast to collaborate on the occasion of Cersaie 2019, in order to illustrate its own vision in the exhibition space with a continuity of coloring and finishes between ceramic furnishings, walls and flooring, thus highlighting the fundamental role played by color in contemporary living.
In fact for Flaminia "the colors are no longer a simple decorative detail, but they become an integral part of the material and, consequently, functional to the definition of the furnishing object itself". Flaminia, which was the first bathroom company to offer matte and textured colors, thus starting a new trend in the bathroom furnishing sector, finds an ideal partner in Colorificio Marmoplast for extending its vision to the living areas, which connect themselves into a harmonious whole with the furnishings thanks to the possibility of simulating in a perfect way their color, finish and materiality.
CROMATERIA by Colorificio Marmoplast is in fact the only one-component micro- resin on the market that can be completely customized: the variables that can be selected start from color (940 shades in our color card, plus all the RAL, NCS, Pantone colors, or even any other custom color chosen for matching the resin with the color of any other material) passing through the texture (there are four granulometries available for a more or less material effect), ending with the finish (matt, satin, glossy) . #cromateria allows to create customized environments with infinite chromatic and tactile combinations in just three millimeters of thickness for a completely custom-made, unique and unrepeatable aesthetic effect.
Cromateria is indicated for the decorative covering of all the rooms of the house or commercial spaces. It can be applied indoors and outdoors, on floors, walls, ceilings, planar or curved surfaces, bathtubs, shower stalls and sinks. #cromateria is designed for architecture and #interiordesign and its infinite possibilities of customization allow it to be easily integrated into any interior project. Furthermore, #cromateria can be used not only on new screeds, but also for renovating old floors with elegance and simplicity without having to dismantle them, by transforming them into continuous surfaces that are without joints, resistant, waterproof, easily washable and with a contemporary design. Whether we are dealing with an eclectic project, the restoration of an Apulian farmhouse or a high tech apartment in Milan, #cromateria will amaze and excite.
The application cycle of #cromateria is completed in five steps which are applied directly on the old coatings with a surface rise of only 3 mm. This make unnecessary the removal of the pre-existing layers or the modification of doors and windows already on site; therefore also the disposal of the resulting materials is avoided. All this constitutes a considerable economic saving for the customer as well as a safeguard for the environment. Furthermore, #cromateria guarantees the respect of the health of the applicators first, as well as of the recipients of the environments, by offering a single- component eco-compatible water-based formulation with low impact, APEO FREE and with minimum levels of VOC.
Cromateria was conceived as part of "PROGETTOMATERIA - customized surfaces for architecture", the "laboratory" of Colorificio Marmoplast dedicated to innovation, research and development. Within this space, light construction products are created for satisfying the new needs of designers and final customers. Products with a contemporary ethic, easy to apply and environmentally conscious.
Colorificio Marmoplast also created a qualified training course for the application of its products. Through “MASTER PROGETTOMATERIA” certified applicators are trained. By forming its own applicators directly, Colorificio Marmoplast intends to satisfy the customer both in the choice of the product and in its best installation, by guaranteeing technical assistance in all phases of the order. All Colorificio Marmoplast products are born from the fruitful dialogue with applicators, construction site managers, designers and customers. All of them help us, through their unique necessities, to improve our products, but also to identify new needs.
In addition to #cromateria, on the input of the most current market requests, Marmoplast laboratories have recently tested and developed new lines of professional technical products that will be proudly presented during the FEL within SAIE Bari 2019:
- MarmoFloor: range of high-performance epoxy or polyurethane resins for industrial floors (new or to be restored), that give resistance to traffic, chemicals and light;
- MarmoShield: range of transparent protective systems, whose invisible technology is indicated for natural and cementitious substrates, with formulas that meet the demand for conservative restoration of the building world;
- MarmoGuaina: range of waterproofing products, which, in addition to bituminous or elastomeric liquid sheaths or protective coatings for asbestos encapsulation, include Thermo (an innovative coating based on elastomeric plasticized acrylic resin and 3M® hollow glass microspheres that guarantees considerable energy savings thanks to the high index of solar reflectance and weather resistance) and WonderGum (cold-applied one- component liquid membrane based on polyurethane, with elongation at break of 900%, used for a long-lasting waterproofing with excellent mechanical properties , chemical, thermal and UV rays resistance).
- MarmoPool: range of resin systems for swimming pools and wellness centers that combine walkability and extraordinary resistance to stagnation of chlorinated or salt water as well as ultraviolet rays and atmospheric agents.
