Wash Exterior Walls in a Warm Glow with Premium Lighting Collections
With the arrival of warm weather, outdoor areas increasingly become an extension of the home. Creating an alfresco environment that’s as inviting as your indoor space calls for proper lighting to set the right atmosphere. Whether illuminating a terrace, patio, garden, or pool, #vibia offers a selection of premium outdoor wall lights that combines both technical performance and unparalleled style.
Resembling a geometric sculpture, Break is distinguished by its architectural attitude. The crisp, cubic volume by Xuclà & Alemany can be angled to provide a subtle up or down light as needed. Doubling as minimalist décor, Break is available in three earthy finishes: khaki lacquer, rust lacquer, and concrete.
Designed by Jordi Vilardell and Meritxell Vidal, Meridiano is formed from a spherical steel shade fitted with open slots. An LED shines through the glass diffuser, radiating outward from the grid across a broad surface in a brilliant sunburst pattern of shadow and light. Equal parts ambient lighting and striking décor, Meridiano artfully fills an expanse of wall while its airy architecture integrates easily into outdoor spaces.
Designed by Ramón Esteve for #vibia, Origami is inspired by the traditional Japanese art of folding paper. An avant-garde reimagining of the sconce, Origami’s architectural cubes can be arranged in myriad custom compositions, transforming a blank wall into a canvas for a work of art. The LED-powered fixture casts an indirect glow and requires only a single electrical outlet.
Recalling the appearance of its namesake plant, Bamboo by Antoni Arola and Enric Rodríguez features a truncated stalk protruding from a wall. The slender silhouette is studded with an LED light that casts an ambient up or downward arc of light against the surface on which it’s mounted. The organic form perfectly lends itself to an outdoor setting, seamlessly integrating with the landscape in khaki, stainless-steel, and white finishes.
Evoking a sleek ice sculpture, Scotch is at once strong and subtle. Crafted of a thick, pressed-glass diffuser resting upon a chrome base, its simple, spherical form provides an understated accent that stands a mere 9 cm proud of the wall. The #design by Oscar & Sergi Devesa features a white-painted interior that emits a warm, transparent light ideal for transit areas.
