The names of the jurors of MM Award, the International creative award for fashion, product and interior design, have been announced

MM Company creative consultancy agency reveals the names of the jurors of the 2021 edition of MM Award – International creative award, its scouting project launched to honour and promote the most promising talents and brands in Fashion, Product and #interiordesign. This initiative is aimed at creating and supporting a community of creative talents from all over the world, recognizing their merits, while encouraging their connection with industry’s insiders, media and companies.

A selection of experts, prestigious professionals in the world of creativity, embraced the project by joining the Jury of the MM Award - International creative award.

The President of the Jury is MARCO MAGALINI, co-founder and creative director of #mmcompany, journalist and expert in the Made in Italy. Together with him, the Jury is composed by some of the most interesting contemporary Italian creatives from different fields of #design and creative arts:

Each member of the Jury will be asked to give a vote from 0 to 5 for each of the following criteria: Creativity; Research and Innovation; Sustainability;

Ethics and Attention to Details. The selection process and subsequent proclamation of winners is scheduled for May 2021. 

Contestants

MM Company launched MM Award – International creative award in 2017 and 2018, with the first and second edition (MM Award Special Edition), during the International Footwear and Leather Show held in Bogotà, Colombia.Considering the positive feedback of the project, as well as the growing interest of both #mmcompany and the market in the talents, MM Award – International creative award becomes in 2020 an annual project, open to three contestant categories: Students and creative talents between 18 and 25 years old; Professionals, freelancers and creative talents between 26 and 35 years old; and Companies, practices, professional studios, organisations of professionals founded in the 8 years prior to edition of the award and with no age limits for the founders.

Award

MM Award – International creative award winners will receive a communication support of great value to make themselves known to: Italian and International press, a profiled database of professionals and companies, and MM Award and #mmcompany contacts, through their communication channels.  

In addition, the winners will receive a certificate of merit and a precious Trophy, made by Cimento, an important Made in Italy #design company.

Categories and “Made in Italy is” special mention

Contestants can apply for three different thematic categories: Fashion Design, Product Design and Interior Design.

Furthermore, MM Award – International creative award reserves a special mention dedicated to the Made in Italy (which contestants in the "Companies" category can aspire to), called "Made in Italy is". This award is aimed at enhancing the project that best describes, expresses and represents the values of the Made in Italy (craftsmanship, #design, authenticity, brand of origin, local production, local raw materials, manufacturing excellence, cultural manufacturing and genius loci).
