Fluid, flexible micro-architecture
Node+ is an ambitious system that is designed to cater to people’s needs and adapt to suit the countless activities that they carry out every day.
Designed by Ben van Berkel | UNStudio and developed by UNSx (the Dutch firm's team of researchers) in tandem with #lacividina, Node+ is a micro-architecture solution that can offer a blend of privacy, recreation, relaxation and socializing.
Comfort and practicality for homes and public spaces
Fusing comfort and practicality, the development process for Node+ revolved around people and their needs. As well as being ideal for all activities that take place in the home – from relaxing to working – it is also perfect for public spaces, where lots of different people all come together, each with their own specific requirements. The #design encapsulates the spirit of our time, fluidly and flexibly reflecting our lifestyles.

Chairs and a sofa inspired by nature
Timo is designer Federica Biasi’s first project for #lacividina. The collection of padded seats features understated style and shapes inspired by nature.
The distinguishing features of the items in the Timo collection are the slender lines of both the legs and the seat, with the curve in the latter getting thinner towards the front.
The seating selection consists of two dining chairs, a lounge chair and a two-seater sofa. The items are all designed for both the home and contract markets, reflecting LaCividina’s goal of catering to an all-embracing range of different needs.

As well as the contract market, #lacividina now works in the field of home living
LaCividina is renowned for the distinctive, accomplished designs and craftsmanship of the sofas, armchairs and other items of furniture that it has been designing and producing since 1976.
Its aim has always been to fuse beauty and comfort in order to cater to the needs of public spaces. Over time these requirements have become increasingly similar to those of homes, so it was only natural for the company to move into the household market.
