Falmec’s ‘Light’ wins the Iconic Award 2022: Innovative Interior
Falmec has added yet another trophy to its honours in recent years, thanks to a new and much respected award in the field of international #design.
Just after the prestigious German #design Award 2022, the new Light kitchen extraction solution wins the Iconic Award 2022: Innovative Interior in the Kitchen and Household category.
The Iconic Awards have been supported by the German #design Council for more than 60 years, with the aim of selecting the best products of the year in the world of furniture and #interiordesign, as well as promoting the concept of ‘functional design’ in the quality of residential areas.
An international jury, composed of high level professionals in #design and journalism, has chosen the most significant products for specific criteria - such as concept, innovation, sustainability, quality of #design, functionality and usability.
Thanks to its ultra-compact 10cm high suction element that is contained in a minimal and exclusive #design, Light allows greater creative freedom, opening the way to new #design horizons. The new Multi-Air technology, conceived by Falmec, allows the suction power to be distributed betweenseveral small motors- rather than concentrated into just one as is the norm -thus guaranteeing the same suction efficiency but within an extremely reduced volume.
Light with its minimal and contemporary #design, is an island solution with an extremely scenic effect that becomes the main centrepiece of the kitchen, whether as an independent space or in tandem with the living area. The suction hood has a large central element in tempered smoked glass, available in 120 cm or 180 cm versions,plus two sideprofiles in black anodized satin aluminium, both equipped with LED lighting. The lights that extend along the entire lower perimeter of the two elements illuminate not only the worktop, but also the surrounding space, creating a warm ambience for any kitchen environment.
