In a natural landscape featuring lush #green vegetation, Bosa’s colourful collection of animals peep out, showcasing a project started by the company in 2020 dedicated to endangered species.
MARGOT the sea turtle, designed by #alessandrabaldereschi, is the newcomer to this very special family, and, together with BERNARDO the panda and DAB PENGUIN, is a testament to Bosa’s commitment to animals threatened by climate change and the support the company has chosen to give to the WWF.
MARGOT is a turtle whose shell tells the story of all the habitats it lives in: seaweed, corals and small fishes are thus melded and both decorate and lend greater meaning – a sort of a dual portrait that serves to reinforce its message. The loggerhead turtle, a species once common to the Mediterranean Sea, is now on the brink of extinction in Italian waters. Its presence in our homes thus provides a timely reminder of how fragile the environment around us is and how we must all play our part to preserve it.
It’s embellished with three-dimensional textures and enamels hand-crafted by master craftsmen. And thanks to its generous proportions, the space concealed beneath the turtle’s carapace-lid can serve as handy place for storing small objects.
MARGOT, together with the superbly decorated panda BERNARDO by Elena Salmistraro and the low-poly DAB PENGUIN by Vittorio Gennari, becomes a faithful daily companion that symbolizes the consequences of our actions and represents the commitment Bosa has made to the WWF campaigns.
