Metal-morphosis by Planium, a Scenographic Fuorisalone to Remember
Planium's metal was the protagonist in interpreting the "concept" of Water, chosen by dOT at the Fuorisalone in Brera with its collections including the new Metal-morphosis.
From a scenographic point of view, there were two pillars of the exhibition that distinguished the brand among the various installations.
By M. Galante and T. Lancman the design of the lunar gallery paved and clad in oxidized stainless Steel inspired by Moon cartography has impressed most, becoming a real walkway for the passage of thousands of people. With its chromatic shades of gray, this "metal casket" has left subjective perceptions in everyone, referring to the contexts of science fiction as well as to its own dimension of space and time.
Wave11, made up of almost 200 finely worked oxidized copper and brass sheets, represented the figurative sense described by the designer of this path: "Time and Energy are the fundamental factors in this experimental project, a project that tends to tell the transformation by fixing its moment ... what the Japanese call 'MU', a moment so close to nothing that it becomes everything."
The work is then linked to water through the theme of the wave.
Particular was also the emphasis given to the "exit" path from the tunnel, with frontal LED lights and studied as in a photographic set.
Also part of the new Metal-morphosis collection are the MAVI Calypso Tapestries by Işıl Çağatay: oxidations of copper and brass that are inspired by Mediterranean marine colors and cartographic maps of the planet. Blue or coppery streaks with pale yellow, green, blue, brown, brown inserts linked to the colors of the earth.
The Highlight at Night and the Combination of History and Innovation
The setting of the Cloister of San Marco in Brera did the rest: the historical context hosted a stand for innovative and creative ideas and industrialization.
Special was the emphasis in the evening hours after sunset of the oxidized colors of the MAVI Calypso tapestries, of the internal structure of the lunar path thanks to the LED “cuts of light”, of the golden notes on the waves and ripples of WAVE11.
