Albed lands in Seoul and strengthens its internationalization in the Far East

With an export that accounts for about 70% of its total turnover and a driving market - China -  where several points of sale are located in the main metropolises and dedicated communication tools are in place (such as a WeChat and Weibo channel), #albed is once again focusing on the Far East to increase its internationalization.

The focus of the most recent commercial strategies is South Korea, where the high-quality doors company based in Nova Milanese, in the north of Milan, landed just two months ago with a        single-brand showroom in the Gangnam district, Seoul's epicentre of global luxury brands.

"The opening in the Korean capital city marks an important new step for our company, highly     appreciated in the Asian market, as well as in Europe and in the United States, for its ability to make fully customisable doors, panels and partition walls" says Andrea Delmonte, CEO, who    continues: "We are focusing a lot on a growth linked to spaces that can be either managed directly, or with the collaboration of a local distributor, and we are receiving very positive feedback. In      Albed's flagship stores - of which the one in Seoul was realised with the support of YOUNGLIM - we guarantee a very punctual sales, installation and after-sales service, in addition to supporting contractors, developers, architects or private customers in the correct selection of the opening   systems and the finishes of door jambs or panels, for which we offer a range of more than 90     customisation options".

Albed's showroom in Seoul, which extends over about 300 square metres, displays the main     collections in the catalogue, such as the Celine door - the company's best seller - or the All Ways sliding glass walls system, which has recently obtained acoustic certification as proof of its high performance in work or hospitality contexts, as well as residential settings. Then there are the made-to-measure Ri-Vista and Solo walk-in wardrobes, which use the theme of vertical and       horizontal aluminium profiles into which compartments, shelves and accessories can be inserted to build modular wardrobe spaces of precious aesthetics: the showroom displays all the brand's    product categories and a complete material library with samples of finishes.

"South Korea has experienced a significant economic growth in the last decade and it is a very   dynamic market for the Italian furniture industry. Here we have decided to invest considerably after our recent opening in Moscow, Russia, which, despite the complex political situation, continues to be a country where we have a consolidated and important network. The next step? It will be Rome, in the next autumn,' concludes Andrea Delmonte.
