MINOTTI OPENS THE FIRST FLAGSHIP STORE IN LISBON WITH QUARTOSALA


Minotti, the internationally recognised Italian brand of contemporary furniture since 1948 and interpreter of a classic-modern lifestyle concept, announces the opening of the new flagship store in Lisbon in collaboration with QuartoSala.

A refined space, in the Chiado district, once a meeting place for writers and intellectuals, a few steps from the Teatro Nacional de São Carlos, designed as an atelier to surprise visitors with a complete proposal of #minotti furniture, blend-ing authentic Made in Italy values with Portuguese style.

The new #minotti Lisboa flagship store opens inside a historic building and features a surface area of approximately 200 sqm, with 9 windows on the corner façade that flood the space with light, enhancing Minotti’s furnishing pieces also thanks to a special proposal of decorative elements and innovative materials: these include Dark Brown-stained Santos Rosewood, a wood with a warm colouring that recalls the local surroundings.

The #interiordesign - curated by #minotti Studio, the company’s in-house creative department - plays with the contrast of materials and colours, creating a welcoming, elegant atmosphere that is at the same time very modern: satin-finished stainless steel panels alternate with natural materials, such as the wooden ceiling, and white plaster walls, in a frame where the brand’s characteristic architectural elements stand out. The fireplace, ever-present in the brand’s expressive language, becomes a sculptural figure, immediately drawing the visitor’s gaze once inside.

The interior concept, accompanied by extreme attention to detail, creates a timeless ambience that guides visitors on a sophisticated journey through a harmonious alternation of different forms. In addition to the historical collaboration with designer and Art Director Rodolfo Dordoni, the brand has started to cooperate with international designers such as Marcio Kogan / studio mk27, Nendo, GamFratesi and Inoda+Sveje, synthesising their visions into a single language of stylistic coherence: #minotti Lisboa showcases the softly rounded volumes of the new Torii Bold family of seats by Nendo and some pieces from the latest collections, including Brasilia, Horizonte and Daiki, designed by Marcio Kogan / studio mk27, the Oliver dining table and the Roger seating system by Rodolfo Dordoni together with the Patio Teak outdoor seating system by GamFratesi.
To celebrate the opening, #minotti Lisboa will transform the penthouse in the same building into a pop-up display hosting the novelties of the 2023 Collection.
