A pioneering ambitious project based on the values of energy saving and environmental sustainability. Two-tender awarded respectively for the promotion of renewable energy and energy efficiency in public buildings, the project was entirely financed through European funds, allowing the Municipality to have it realized almost free. Welcomed with great interest for the quality of its innovative design, it was developed by the Camerino University’s Spin-off through an experimental program on innovative energetic technology solutions applied to public buildings.
It involved the installation of 191 Brandoni’s Made in Italy photovoltaic modules for a global power capacity of 45 kWp. A great and rare example of environmental awareness promotion, supported by a Municipality that managed to combine its community needs with an innovative sustainable-architecture idea. The estate is composed f two areas: a school with a 25 child capacity and a solar park.
The school is designed to take advantage of technology solutions to increase energy saving as active and passive energy production systems, photovoltaic and geothermic energy and bioclimatic architecture. The whole building is powered by a 108 Brandoni’s PV module plant integrated in the roof. Its cutting-edge design aims to increase solar module production to enable the building self-powering and the provision of energy to other Municipality users.
The school is surrounded by a 5000 sqm solar park designed t maximize solar exposure and energy production through two platform roofs with 59 Brandoni’s PV modules integrated solar plat and a “solar path” equipped with 24 PV modules...
