Adrenalina. New designers for playful, innovative, comfortable and colorful products

Once again, Adrenalina livens up Hall 16 of Milan's Salone del Mobile with its colors and its inimitable energy, ready to impress with ideas, shapes, comfort and quality craftsmanship completely made in Italy.
For Adrenalina, 2015 is a year full of news, opening up to new worlds and new collaborations, and it brings in a host of new designers who came on board to draw playful, innovative, comfortable and colorful products. And, as the saying goes, one thing leads to another; so the 2015 Adrenalina products were born that way – almost by accident – because the playfulness of Adrenalina's soul inspired an interesting common theme: games.
Inspired by the ancient Chinese puzzle the Tangram, the Italo Pertichi signature collection TiGram goes hand in hand with Circle, the Roberto Giacomucci & Nicola Cerasa signature collection, which is reminiscent of the hula hoop game transformed into a very interesting series of armchairs.
Ancient games and games of colors, mixed with the wisdom of those who have always played with color and shapes, transform the strangest ideas into extremely comfortable seating creations that are born to entertain those who will use them.
Let's make way for the young, then, who have the honor of seeing their names alongside that of Simone Micheli, for sixteen years the absolute protagonist in Adrenalina, now leaving his post as art director even if he will keep working with Adrenalina's staff and contribute to Adrenalina's future – and futuristic – designs.
But that's not all: 2015 is the year of the return of Swarovski to shine its light on Adrenalina's creations for the second time, decorating Simone Micheli's LOV chair, some constructive elements of Adrenalina's stand, and the T-shirts of Adrenalina's female staff.
We'll be waiting for you: look for us at Milan's Salone del Mobile, Hall 16, Stand E44

Collection TIGRAM
design Italo Pertichini

TiGram: the art of playing with geometrical shapes (and turning them into sofas and chairs)

Starting out from Tangram, the ancient Chinese game based on arranging seven geometrical shapes in combinations to form an endless variety of designs and figures, ADRENALINA has developed a collection of padded elements that re-invents the original brain teaser.

The seven basic elements are armchairs, sofas, poufs and stools, all rigorously modeled on a hexagonal base and featuring different sizes, heights, and colours, which can be combined and separated to create figures and symbols in a kaleidoscope of variations.

The simple shapes of TiGram's primary elements allow a tremendous and exciting variety of combinations that give birth to complex clusters of figures that can be freely interpreted both by those who arrange them and by the observer.

Your choice of single elements can be summed up in a harmonic yet explosive whole, but you can also let them drift away from each other and let them recover their individual charm. TiGram can be an articulated combination of elements, but each element can also elegantly stand on its own to stylize a corner or to fashion a cozy and friendly parlour.

ADRENALINA offers TiGram in two versions, one rigorous and modern, sculpted with extremely colorful hi-tech fabrics, the other a glam-chic variation on the theme, dressed up in fabrics that seem to have been borrowed from the world of high fashion, perfect for elegant and sophisticated environments.

Collection CIRCLE
design Roberto Giacomucci & Nicola Cerasa

A hula hoop is propped on a metal frame, and it magically turns into the back of a simple and colorful contemporary chair. Just by chance... or just for fun.
Circle is just as you see it, with its concentric hoops that seem to come off at any moment, yet  strong enough to be able to contain any physique without the slightest hesitation.
Circle is the armchair with hoops that can easily be placed in any residential or commercial setting to spark up the environment with a small object that recalls street games from the past.
