CIACCI New Collection - Salone del Mobile 2015

Some new projects presented at the Salone del Mobile by the architect Luca Scacchetti, open new perspectives for the Ciacci.

All pieces are made traditionally using metal as the principle material, which has always been Ciacci’s signature.  Each piece is unique, from the embossed to the plain, the worked rod, the solid iron, the lasered tube.

Dreams, the Post-Impressionists and the arrival of sunrise inspire the Rosae bed. Made of embossed iron, it is available in several versions: paneled or with a simple headboard with side tables either included in the bedhead or freestanding.

The Orlando table has a simple metal structure with a large marble top that appears suspended. Its beauty is in its changing appearance depending the angle and from where it’s viewed. Size 260x100cms.

The Augusta chair, simple but elegant, contemporary but reminiscent of the 1700s at the same time.  It’s one the few chairs made in metal that seeks an alternative aesthetic to the tubular chairs of Modernism.

These pieces of furniture are offered as a contribution to the search for a new elegance, rich in Italian spirit and tradition whilst being at the same time international and contemporary.

A contribution to the world of current furniture design balancing the contemporary with the decorated, the manufactured with the hand crafted.

By combining the handcrafted with manufactured production, re-discovering artigianal methods, we produce a true example of ‘Made in Italy’.

So, although produced with the benefits of modern production, the manual handcrafted finishes render each and every Ciacci bed unique.

The CIACCI collection preview will be presented at the next Salone Internazionale del Mobile di Milano Pavillon 06, Stand E27b.
