Hyundai's All-New 2020 Sonata Awarded Redesign of the Year by ALG®

FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., Feb. 4, 2020 – Hyundai’s all-new 2020 Sonata was named Redesign of the Year by #alg. The all-new #sonata, with its four-door coupe look with spacious interior and advanced technologies, was recognized by #alg for having the strongest redesign based on overall degree of change and execution. #alg, the analytics subsidiary of TrueCar®, Inc., is the benchmark for forecasting future vehicle values and their relevance to #automotive leasing.

Hyundai has achieved success with the redesigned #sonata in one of the largest and most competitive segments in the industry, according to #alg. The new-generation #sonata is the first sedan designed with Hyundai’s Sensuous Sportiness #design language. #sonata represents Hyundai’s new focus on creating emotional value using proportion, styling and technology. From a newly designed Digital Pulse Cascading Grille spanning the front to an innovative new lighting architecture featuring Hidden Lighting Lamps, the look highlights the #design identity of future #hyundai cars.
Inside the #sonata, Hyundai’s designers and engineers focus was to maximize the sense of a spacious interior, so as not to lose the sedan feel with the redesigned coupe-like exterior. Alongside visual devices that create an impression of greater room, the new #sonata features an optional panoramic sunroof that amplifies the light and airy ambience.
The latest #sonata is the first model to be based on Hyundai’s new, innovative vehicle platform, with improvements in #design, safety, efficiency and driving performance. The car uses an extensive application of advanced technologies to boost comfort, convenience and active safety. It is also the first model to premiere a new collaboration with Bose® to deliver an exceptional audio experience to customers.
