Good #design is not only seen but experienced and it even thrills. It is there, but it prefers to merge with the surroundings and leave all the attention to the landscape when it comes to enhancing overwhelming views and unique staging.
The #diabla 356 sun lounger, the most groundbreaking and avant-garde brand of Gandia Blasco Group, seems to have been expressly conceived to be integrated into the #canavesoiasuites #hotel project, an exclusive and intimate five-star #hotel in the northwest corner of Santorini. Made of 100% recyclable polyethylene by means of rotational molding, the 356 sun lounger stands out for its organic and whimsical shapes and fluid lines that evoke the waves, the breeze and the rounded contours of Oia’s magical white architecture.
Canaves Oia Suites’ swimming pool, hanging from a steep cliff and with an impressive view of the legendary volcanic caldera, is a privileged space to merge with the Aegean. With subtlety and elegance, a perfect series of Diabla’s 356 sun loungers partially emerge from the water to invite us to live the island’s sunset with body and soul. Generous dimensions (78x31x14 in) and an ergonomic structure maximize the feeling of comfort.
This #design, created by the fruitful creative tandem formed by José A. Gandía-Blasco Canales and Pablo Gironés, has found its best introduction in high-end contract projects such as #canavesoiasuites. A premium solution that combines GANDIABLASCO’s high manufacturing quality with innovation in materials –perfect for intensive use in hotels and collective outdoor facilities due to their resistance and easy maintenance– and the aesthetic and creative strength of everything that brings the #diabla outdoor identity.
The 356 collection, available in 8 shades –from the most neutral such as grey or sand to the most daring such as the iconic #diabla pink and red– is composed of a lounger, armchair, table and pouf. All the pieces are versatile, maintaining the same minimalist, aerodynamic and elegant lines, and can be combined with each other to form multiple configurations and exterior or interior atmospheres.

The history of #canavesoiasuites began in 1985, when the Chaidemenos family started the transformation of a 17th-century cave, used for storing wine, into a luxurious #design #hotel that pays tribute to the volcanic beauty of Oia. This spot, surrounded by an incredible natural paradise, has spacious suites and rooms, art in every corner, a wine cellar and a gourmet restaurant.
