Un progetto immerso nella natura

Oggi vi parliamo di un progetto dell’architetto Cristina Mazzucchelli, biologa e paesaggista, da sempre impegnata in progetti su varia scala, dai giardini pubblici ai terrazzi urbani, con solide basi fondate su rigore e fantasia.

Si tratta di un terrazzo in provincia di Varese, completamente avvolto dalla vegetazione abbinata ad una pavimentazione che profuma di #legno, ma nel contempo estremamente tecnica e sostenibile: parliamo del sistema plusDECK in #legno composito plasticWOOD.

Ringraziando ancora l’architetto per questa opportunità, citiamo le Sue parole: “si tratta di un materiale versatile, pratico, robusto e duraturo, con basse richieste di manutenzione e con un assortimento di colori e tessiture molto interessanti, che ben si armonizzano con i colori della vegetazione, soprattutto quando si desidera dare un’impronta contemporanea ad un #ambiente esterno, come un terrazzo o un giardino. In contesti appropriati, anche la composizione di colori in nuance diverse combinate opportunamente nello stesso pavimento può dar origine a soluzioni insolite, tipo tappeto multicolore, che movimentano lo spazio. In tutti i casi impreziosisce gli ambienti e dà un tono di eleganza, facendo uso di materie prime a matrice rinnovabile, quali la farina di #legno. La tecnologia dovrebbe sempre essere orientata a soluzioni che consentano il massimo sfruttamento della materia ed un suo intelligente riutilizzo, come in questo caso. Il fatto che il prodotto sia made in Italy, tra l’altro, mai come in questo momento storico rappresenta un ulteriore incentivo all'utilizzo.”

A PROJECT SURROUNDED BY NATURE

Today we want to present a project by Cristina Mazzucchelli, a biologist and landscape architect, who has always been involved in projects on various scales, from public gardens to urban terraces, strongly based on accurancy and imagination.

It is a terrace in the Varese province, completely enveloped by vegetation combined with a decking that smells of wood, but at the same time extremely technical and sustainable: we are talking about the plusDECK system in #plasticwood composite wood.

First of all, thanks again to the architect for this opportunity, we use her words that describe perfectly the message that we want to give: "It is a versatile, practical, robust and durable material, with low maintenance requirements and with very interesting range of colors and textures, which harmonize well with vegetation, especially when you want to give a contemporary touch to an outdoor environment, such as a terrace or a garden. In appropriate contexts, even the composition of different colors suitably combined in the same floor can create unusual solutions, such as a multicolored carpet, which enliven the space. In all cases it enhances the spaces giving a tone of elegance, but in the meantime using raw materials with a renewable matrix, such as wood flour. Technology should always be oriented towards solutions that allow maximum exploitation of the material and its intelligent reuse, as in this case. The fact that the product is made in Italy, among other things, never as in this historical moment represents a further incentive to use.”
