Design Loft in Pavia, with Rifra kitchen and bathroom
The project is an architectural renovation of an industrial building in Pavia, which has been disused for about ten years and reconverted into a residential loft that is fascinating in every detail.
The conservative approach in the intervention, carried out by our client, Silvio Fornaro, owner of Domustime in Pavia which deals with turkey construction and renovation is evident.
In fact it was immediately chosen to recovery many original aspect of the building, such as the exposed bricks with the aim of highlighting the iron staircase that leads to the intermediate floor, at sight, used as a night area.
The plan of the building is like a parallelepiped, and this unusual shape has made it possible to play around with the choice of furnishings, lighting and certain differences in height to change the perspective and create different spaces in the same room.
The #rifra kitchen was in fact installed above an illuminated difference in level, focusing attention on it and enhancing an already attractive and interesting space.
The model chosen by the customer is the FLY kitchen in a matt stone lacquer finish.
The FLY model is characterised by the lightness of its #design given by the 30° cut of the top, which enhances the extraordinary scenographic effect of this island that immediately catches the eye.
Even in the kitchen we see the conservative aspect emerge from the choice of combining an antique element, such as the solid wood table, a carpenter's worktop, with the modern, clean and linear #design of the #rifra models.
The panoramic iron staircase leads to the mezzanine; #rifra has also furnished the open bathroom, adjacent to the sleeping area, open to the living area below.
The model chosen is KONE, in a pure matt white lacquered finish, giving #design and elegance to the room.
Our designers and interior designers worked together interpreting the client's needs, making the most of the space and vocation of the existing environment.
