The welcoming ARP geometry: reason and emotion Designed by Made Studio

ARP, the latest outdoor furniture collection created by Borja García and #lauraros from their architecture firm Made Studio for Diabla, represents their conception of #design as something passionately rational, as analytic as it is emotional, that should improve people’s lives and the world they inhabit. With pieces such as ARP, it is easy to imagine any environment in an outdoor open space becoming intimate and private like a secret garden.
From a tubular structure in a textured thermo-lacquered aluminum - with a great expressive register, functionality and durability - and with a name inspired by the succession of vertical lines, evoking the strings of a harp, the series is made up of an armchair, two-seater sofa and two low tables in different sizes. ARP pieces are absolutely contemporary, architectural “and most chameleonic due to their multiple possible configurations and, above all, to their chromatic adaptation, which allows them to fit into almost any space and time of year.”
In any case, its unquestionable aesthetic power should not mislead us: the structural and constructive dimension has had the same weight as the set #design at the time of being designed. ARP represents an abstraction from the cast iron furniture and tectonic architecture of the 19th century, observed and worked from the innovation and #design of the 21st century.
This naked, sincere and daring collection plays with geometry and colours, which can be applied both in thermo-lacquered frame and in the fabric of its generous cushions, seat and back. And it is that the warm and textile component plays an important role in softening the formal appearance of ARP, providing charisma and comfort from closeness and allowing, in turn, formidable customization possibilities.
