Søren Rose brings the essence of Scandinavian #design to the Mediterranean lifestyle of #gandiablasco with a new collection of outdoor furniture with a minimalist look that combines a functional sense, aesthetic sensitivity and sustainability.

CAPA constitutes a compact and versatile series, specially designed to convert all types of exterior environments into the most intimate and welcoming experiences.

“I have entered the universe of #gandiablasco with a proposal that evokes the Danish ‘hygge’ concept, a philosophy of life that encourages us to enjoy simple and relaxed plans with the #people we appreciate,” explains Rose, alluding to a #design that she states “has a soul and appeals directly to you as a user.”

CAPA gives its name to a lounge chair and a 2-seater sofa which have a structure in thermo-lacquered welded aluminium combined with an iron in the same material with simple bars and curved edges. As a novelty in #gandiablasco, the armrests can optionally be made in the innovative material Dekton® by Cosentino or add extra warmth to the collection thanks to the iroko wood. The upholstery of the cushions, seats and backrests is removable and gives rise to an immense range of colours - with up to 74 shades - organised in three thematic lines: Nautical, Warm and Soft. The latter includes the new Atlas upholstery fabrics made of polyester fibres, which have a great character due to their warm and delightfully irregular texture and are remarkably resistant and durable for outdoor use.

The CAPA coffee table, a true all-rounder with generous dimensions, offers multiple finishes both for its thermo-lacquered structure and for its surfaces, available in the 11 varieties of Dekton® found in the firm’s catalogue - from the white Zenith to the black Domoos, including the new Kreta grey. “We have made very clean designs that users can personalise by playing with combining and choosing between the top-quality finishes on fabrics and surfaces”, adds Rose.

Thus, the soft #light of the Nordic style filters through the catalogue of the Valencian firm with a timeless proposal that is on the fringe of passing trends. “Everything is reduced to quality and details. Taking care of these two factors to the extreme allows us to achieve pieces that we want to live with, that last and acquire meaning over time”.
